Baphomet, Osiris & the Signs of the Times

Recent exploration has revealed deeper connections between ancient deities, occult symbolism, and the prophetic warnings found in Scripture. One of the most striking is the symbolic link between Osiris, the Egyptian god of death and resurrection, and Baphomet, the horned figure now widely associated with satanic imagery.
This connection is not baseless; it’s rooted in ancient Egyptian belief. The ram, far from a simple fertility symbol, held deep spiritual meaning. The deity Banebdjedet; also known as Baphohidjet, or “soul (ba) of Osiris”; was worshipped as a ram/goat god, representing divine power, resurrection, and the continuity of kingship. Through this figure, Osiris was mystically united with the ram, a sacred animal in Nile Valley resurrection cults.
That same ram/goat imagery reappears in the modern depiction of Baphomet: goat-headed, horned, and androgynous; a clear inversion of divine order, dressed in symbols of false balance and counterfeit enlightenment. The goat links directly to Capricorn, ruled by Saturn; the Roman god of time and death, known to the Greeks as Kronos, who devoured his own children to preserve his rule.
Occultists like Aleister Crowley intentionally wove these figures; Osiris, Mithras (the "Unconquered Sun"), and Baphomet; into a unified system of spiritual rebellion. What began in Egypt has carried through the mystery religions, resurfacing in today’s culture through ritual, symbolism, and mass deception.
And today, we expose how they connect to biblical prophecy; specifically, the two-fingered gesture of Baphomet (Osiris) and its link to the Queen of Heaven: Isis, Ishtar, the Moon goddess, central to modern occult ritual and deception.
When the Almighty Speaks Through Creation
Scripture does not present God as a nature deity, but as the Almighty Creator who uses nature as His instrument. He is not found in the storm, but He commands it. Earthquakes, droughts, floods; they are not random, but are used by God to warn, call to repentance, and prepare for judgment.
In Amos 4, God sent famine and disaster so His people would return to Him. In Luke 13, Jesus reminds us that tragedies are not meaningless; they are calls to repent. And in Romans 1, creation itself testifies to God's reality and power.
In 2025, we’ve seen floods, landslides, volcanic eruptions, and record-breaking heat. These are not just climate events. They are birth pains; clear signs that God is speaking, calling the world to turn back to Him before it's too late
Let’s take a closer look at the warnings unfolding around us. While unbelievers call it climate change, and in one sense the climate is changing; it is not nature acting alone. The changes we’re witnessing are allowed, even directed, by the hand of the Almighty.
Pakistan (June–July): Record-breaking monsoon floods, made 10–15% worse by human-caused warming, claimed over 300 lives, destroyed 1,600 homes, and impacted millions. The intensity of urban and rural flooding shattered communities across the nation (Axios, AP News).
Chilas–Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan: Cloudbursts and glacial melt triggered landslides and flash floods, leading to fatalities and the rescue of stranded tourists (Al Jazeera).
Punjab, Pakistan (Chakwal region): Flash floods caused 30 deaths in a single day, prompting a provincial “rain emergency” (Al Jazeera).
Rawalpindi (Chahan Dam incident): A reporter was tragically swept away live on air—an unsettling symbol of how deeply floods are invading daily life (AP News).
Widespread Asia (e.g., Hong Kong, southern China): Flash floods caused massive disruption, marking some of the heaviest rains and demonstrating how intensified warnings span continents (Financial Times).
Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia: Following a magnitude 8.8 earthquake, a “parade” of eruptions from six volcanoes—including Krasheninnikov (erupting for the first time in 600 years)—filled skies with ash and forced evacuations. Aviation warnings were issued across the Pacific (Live Science).
Global volcanic activity: In 2025, there were 58 confirmed eruptions from 56 volcanoes, including 16 brand-new eruptions, showing that the earth is visibly groaning under under divine scrutiny (volcano.si.edu).
Kanlaon Volcano, Philippines: Multiple explosive eruptions in April and May displaced thousands, triggered wildfires, disrupted flights, damaged infrastructure, and prompted states of calamity across Negros Island (Wikipedia).
Sundhnúkur (Iceland): The ongoing volcanic eruptions (nine since December 2023) continued through mid‑2025, resulting in evacuations, infrastructure damage, and threats to geothermal installations like the Blue Lagoon (Wikipedia).
Lewotobi Laki‑laki, Indonesia: A series of eruptions between March and early August produced massive ash plumes, pyroclastic flows, and disrupted flights—triggering recurring high‑alert status for Bali (Wikipedia).
Kīlauea, Hawaii: Marked its 30th eruption in under a year by August 2025, with impressive lava fountains continuously reminding us that even presumed placid lands quake under divine sovereignty (nypost.com).
In Thailand, days of torrential rain triggered deadly flooding throughout the south, causing multiple casualties—and even knocking down a Buddhist temple. (weather.com)
In Bangkok, following a powerful 7.7‑magnitude earthquake centered in nearby Myanmar, an under‑construction high‑rise collapsed, killing dozens and triggering widespread panic and evacuations. (apnews.com)
In Rome, lightning—amid a sudden, unprecedented storm—struck the ancient Arch of Constantine, dislodging marble fragments and revealing that even millennia‑old monuments are not immune to His voice. (reuters.com)
In Spain, severe floods partially washed away an ancient Roman bridge in Talavera de la Reina, showing that even historic infrastructure is subject to divine warning. (bluewin.ch)
God does not leave His people without warning. Throughout Scripture, He has spoken through nature, and in the last days, that pattern intensifies. The physical world becomes a visible signboard, declaring judgment, urging repentance, and pointing to the return of Christ. These aren’t just natural disasters. They are spiritual messages, grounded in prophecy and revealed to those with eyes to see.
Earthquakes are listed by Christ Himself as the beginning of the end. In Matthew 24:7–8, He says: “There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.” These shakings are not just geological; they are symbolic of spiritual upheaval, a shaking of kingdoms and powers. In Revelation 6:12, we read of a great earthquake accompanying the breaking of the sixth seal. It is so intense that it’s followed by cosmic signs: the sun turns black, and the moon blood red. This is not natural coincidence; it is the direct intervention of God in the created order.
Heat, drought, and fire are signs of both judgment and rebellion. In Isaiah 24:4–6, the earth withers because it is defiled by its people. The curse that consumes the earth is not random; it is because of sin. Revelation 16:8–9 shows a time when the sun is allowed to scorch people with fire, and yet they refuse to repent. This is not just extreme weather; it is the righteous judgment of God, giving people every chance to turn while there is still time.
Floods and torrential rains remind us of the days of Noah. In Genesis 6–9, water was used not just to destroy, but to cleanse and reset. Jesus confirms this parallel in Luke 17:26–27: “As it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man.”
Matthew 24:37–39
"For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."
Just as people ignored the warnings then, so do many now; despite the rising waters and collapsing systems all around them.
Signs in the heavens are perhaps the most feared. Luke 21:25–26 tells us, “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars… Men will faint from terror.” Eclipses, blood moons, and celestial events are not simply astronomical; they are prophetic. Joel 2:31 confirms this: “The sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.” These are not metaphors. They are warnings.
Even the winds are under His command. Revelation 7:1 describes four angels holding back the winds of the earth. God controls what is released and what is restrained. Weather is not just climate; it is spiritual warfare. In the final days, even the winds obey the voice of their Creator.
As Romans 8:22 says, creation is groaning. The earth itself is crying out under the weight of sin and the anticipation of redemption. The signs are increasing. The warnings are clear. These are the birth pains; not the end itself, but the final contractions before something irreversible begins. The question is not whether the signs are real. The question is whether we will listen.
In Revelation 6:12, it is written:
“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.”
In biblical times, sackcloth was commonly made from black goat hair.
It’s a specific, deliberate image: the sun; darkened; cloaked in goat hair. This prophetic detail does more than describe an apocalyptic sign. It reveals a deeper truth; one that ties together the sun, the goat, and the identity of the beast. A sign that the false light of this world, once worshipped as divine, is now exposed and judged.
This links directly to the ancient worship of the sun god, known in various forms as Ra, Osiris, Mithras, and Sol Invictus; all of which were deified representations of solar power and immortality. In this way, the goat, the sun, and the beast are all prophetically intertwined.
Even the number of the beast; 666; is tied to the sun. In ancient occult numerology, the solar magic square, dedicated to the sun god, totals exactly 666. It is the number of total solar influence, of false enlightenment, and of human self-deification. It represents the fullness of man’s rebellion under a counterfeit light.
This is also embodied in the figure of Baphomet; a blasphemous fusion of beast, man, and idol. Often portrayed as 2/3 divine (with wings, a torch, and esoteric symbols) and 1/3 man (human limbs and posture), Baphomet represents the false god-man; an inversion of Christ. In this, he mirrors the beast of Revelation: a counterfeit messiah. The ratio; two parts god, one part man; falsely exalts humanity to a divine status while denying the true Incarnation. That distorted mixture symbolically aligns with .666, the number of man striving to become god without God.
Jesus Himself warned that in the end, He will separate the sheep from the goats (Matthew 25:33), placing the goats on His left; the side of judgment. Those who follow the beast, who take his mark, are aligning themselves not just with a future system, but with a spiritual lineage that stretches back to Babel, Egypt, Rome, and the mystery religions; all rooted in sun worship and goat symbolism.
Let’s make this plain.
In the heart of Vatican City, directly in front of "St. Peter’s Basilica", stands a towering Egyptian obelisk; a sun symbol dedicated originally to Osiris, the god of death, false resurrection, and the underworld. This phallic pillar, transported from Heliopolis (the City of the Sun), is not Christian in origin or meaning. It is a solar monument, erected not to glorify Christ, but to enshrine an ancient sun god; In Egyptian theology, Osiris was mystically linked to the ram-goat deity Banebdjedet, whose name means “the soul (ba) of Osiris.” This horned god; known later in corrupted esoteric systems as Baphomet; became the enduring symbol of rebellion, duality, and false illumination. .
To make it even more absurd, in the 16th century, lions were added to the base of the obelisk. These lions have nothing to do with the Lion of Judah and everything to do with Babylonian and Egyptian symbology. In ancient pagan cultures, lions were used as guardians of sun temples and royal power, not as representations of Christ. If these lions were meant to honor Jesus; the Lion of Judah; they would never be placed beneath a sun obelisk dedicated to Osiris, a god Scripture equates with deception and death.
Christ is not positioned at the base of pagan idols. He overthrows them. Placing lions under a monument to a false sun god is not homage to Christ; it is a blasphemous inversion, aligning His symbol with His adversary.
Surrounding the obelisk in Vatican City is "St. Peter’s Square", designed in the shape of the Vesica Piscis; a sacred geometry shape long used to represent the womb of Isis, goddess of fertility and mother of Horus. The layout mirrors the birthing portal found in ancient temples; specifically the mammisi, or birth chapels; designed to honor the mythic birth of the divine child (like Horus), with architectural imagery of the goddess and her son. It symbolized spiritual regeneration through the goddess, not salvation through the cross.. The obelisk itself is a phallic sun symbol dedicated to Osiris, planted deliberately within the Vesica Piscis. This is not Christian architecture; it is a ritual image of the sun god impregnating the moon goddess; a physical representation of the occult union of Osiris and Isis, producing Horus, the false messiah.
In countless ancient depictions, Isis is shown crowned with horns, often cradling the infant Horus; a "divine" mother image that would later influence Marian iconography. But these horns are not just symbolic of royalty or fertility; they trace back to her union with Osiris, the god of the underworld and false resurrection.
In Egyptian theology, Isis is the consort of Osiris, and it is through this sacred union that Horus; the "divine child"; is conceived. The horns often depicted on Isis visually echo the form of the ram, and more specifically, the deity Banebdjedet (sometimes transliterated Baphohidjet); the “ba” or soul of Osiris; who was depicted as a horned ram god. It is this same figure that would, over time, evolve into the Baphomet of modern occultism: horned, dualistic, and enthroned.
So when Isis is shown with horns, bearing the son of Osiris, and Baphomet is depicted as horned, bearing the signs of union between heaven and earth, we are looking at mirrored archetypes within the same spiritual lineage. Both exalt a false light, both glorify the soul of Osiris, and both appear; visually and symbolically; within the very imagery Scripture warns us about: the woman that rides the beast.
This same spiritual blueprint is echoed in the figure of Baphomet. In classic occult depictions, Baphomet literally points to the moon; one hand raised toward the waxing crescent, the other lowered to the waning moon (see above). This isn’t artistic symmetry; it’s ritual symbolism, invoking Isis, the so-called Queen of Heaven (Jeremiah 7:18, 44:17–19). She governs cycles; birth, death, fertility, and supposed rebirth; her worship stretching from Egypt and Babylon to modern occultism.
Baphomet’s gesture is an invocation: a tribute to Isis as co-ruler (mediatrix) in the ancient counterfeit trinity; Osiris the sun, Isis the moon, and Horus the false son.
And just down the road at the Porta del Popolo in Rome, the eight-pointed star of Ishtar; another name for the Queen of Heaven; is etched in stone. And it raises the question every believer should be asking: How is any of this Christian?
And it gets worse.
In Revelation 18:13, we read that Mystery Babylon traffics not just in gold, silver, and incense; but in the “souls of men.” If Osiris is also Mithras (as Aleister Crowley and others claimed), and if Mithras is linked to Saturn; who is Kronos, the god who devours his own children; then this system isn’t just corrupt. It’s predatory.
What does it say about those who rule the world; trading the souls of men for wealth and power; while exalting the very symbols God has condemned?
