It is important to note that Spain has been experiencing a prolonged period of severe drought, as many of you may already be aware. This situation feels like a repetition of history once more, particularly for those who are familiar with the story of Jeremiah the prophet and his Book of Lamentations.
It has become a common practice in Spain for people to devote their worship to what they perceive as "Saints" instead of their actual creator.
See post from 2023, Spaniards pray to "Our Lady of the Torrents"
Do Roman Catholics ever actually read the Old Testament they claim to live by?
Do NOT worship idols.
Thousands of years ago people worshipped the false god Baal, who is also known as Baal-zeebub or Beelzebub. This deity was worshipped for its association with the cultivation of fertile soil, he was (is) supposedly the lord of the rain and is believed to hold dominion over the Earth. Additionally, for anyone concerned Baal is also known as the prince of demons. Once again, he has managed to deceive humanity into worshipping him and his hoard by simply changing their names.
N.B Quote from Jeremiah 3: 1-5
"You have defiled the land with your prostitution and wickedness. Therefore the rain showers have been withheld, and no spring rains have fallen"
Despite their efforts to paper mache everyone and parade them around the streets, they still lament when the rains fail to come.
In addition to that, we also have a group of Santeria and Palo Mayombe worshippers participating in the events.
Over the course of a couple of millennia, people have written numerous books on prophecy. The question then arises, how many of these books do people need?
Our Divine Creator controls the rain not "saints" or false gods.
In addition, I'm still shocked by the mistreatment of cats here, an animal which held a revered status as one of the most sacred animals in the eyes of the Egyptian gods and have existed for approximately 10 to 15 million years. Despite their historical significance, cats are still in most areas unfortunately often subjected to treatment akin to vermin.
I wonder why it doesn't rain. For Heaven's sake.
Mood.
