Today's message may be unsettling to some, but truth, though it may sting, is not meant to offend—especially for those who genuinely believe they are serving Christ, yet have unknowingly been deceived into following the Antichrist, the Beast of Revelation.
Today, I will be discussing the great deception of the Antichrist, a deception so powerful that, as the Bible warns, even the elect could be deceived (Matthew 24:24) “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
This is not about those who willingly follow evil—this is about honest, righteous people who have been misled, drawn into a system that masquerades as light while working in darkness. Many believe they are serving Christ, yet they are unknowingly following the very system He warned against. How could this happen? How could the elect, those who genuinely seek God, be deceived?
One of the most damning pieces of evidence is hidden in plain sight—the very title claimed by the pope: "Vicar of Christ." Many assume this simply means the pope is a representative of Christ on Earth, but what does the word "vicar" truly mean?
The Latin word "Vicarius" translates to "substitute" or "in place of." This means that Vicar of Christ literally translates to "one who stands in place of Christ." However, Scripture is clear—no one can take Christ’s place.
In 1 John 2:18, we find a critical definition:
"Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time."
The Greek word "antichristos" (ἀντίχριστος) does not just mean "against Christ"—it also means "in place of Christ." This is key to understanding the deception. The Antichrist is not just an enemy of Christ; he is a counterfeit, a usurper who claims Christ’s authority for himself.
If the pope claims to be the Vicar of Christ, a substitute standing in His place, then he is literally fulfilling the very definition of Antichrist—one who positions himself where only Christ belongs.
Vicarius Filii Dei: The Papal Title That Confirms the Antichrist
Perhaps the most compelling evidence lies in a specific title historically associated with the pope—"Vicarius Filii Dei", meaning "Vicar of the Son of God." This phrase appears in the Donation of Constantine, a forged document used by the Roman Catholic Church to justify the pope's supremacy over all Christendom. Although the forgery was exposed, the fact remains that the papacy accepted and embraced this title.
Now, why is this significant?
If we apply the traditional numerical values of Latin letters, the title Vicarius Filii Dei adds up to 666, the number of the Beast described in Revelation 13:18:
"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."
The very title that the pope claims literally translates to "Substitute for the Son of God", which by biblical definition is an act of blasphemy—taking Christ’s place on Earth. And if that same title adds up to 666, could this be the final confirmation that the papacy is indeed the office of the Antichrist?
The Ultimate Deception
Many assume the Antichrist will be an openly evil figure, but Satan’s greatest weapon is deception. The Antichrist is not a man standing in opposition to Christ, but one who claims to be in His place, ruling in His name, while leading people away from the truth.
In 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, Paul warns:
"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."
If the pope sits in a throne of religious authority, calls himself Holy Father, claims to be the mediator between God and man, and enforces doctrines contrary to God’s commandments, then does he not fulfill this prophecy?
The evidence is undeniable—the papacy is not the representative of Christ on Earth, but the system of the Antichrist. The pope, through false apostolic succession, has positioned himself where only Christ belongs, deceiving even the elect (Matthew 24:24).
The False Prophet and the Deception of Many Antichrists
Revelation warns of a false prophet who would perform great signs and wonders (Revelation 13:13-14), leading the world into deception. But there is not just one Antichrist—there have been many, just as John warned. If the papacy is an institution that claims to replace Christ’s authority, then every pope who has held this title has played a role in this deception.
The false prophet works in service of the Beast, using deceptive miracles, religious authority, and false doctrines to ensnare the world. But who else, besides the pope, has claimed the exclusive right to interpret God’s word, to forgive sins, to stand as the ultimate authority over all believers? Who else has rewritten Scripture, changed God’s laws, and led millions into false worship?
This is not a mere accusation—this is a historical fact. The papacy not only changed the Sabbath to Sunday, introduced false doctrines, and declared its own authority above the Word of God, but it also altered the very structure of time itself, fulfilling Daniel 7:25:
"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time."
The Gregorian calendar was introduced by pope Gregory XIII in 1582 through the papal bull Inter gravissimas.
The Latin phrase Inter gravissimas translates to "Among the most serious" or "Among the gravest matters." This title alone suggests that the calendar reform was regarded as a matter of immense significance, officially justified as a necessary correction to restore the proper timing of Easter and prevent further misalignment in the measurement of time. The official explanation was that the Julian calendar, which had been in use since 45 BC, had caused Easter to drift further from the spring equinox, requiring urgent adjustment.
However, beneath this seemingly technical correction lies a much deeper agenda—a deliberate effort to reshape time itself under Rome’s authority, rather than aligning it with the biblical calendar ordained by God. This was not just a scientific revision but a spiritual and political maneuver, further severing the world from God's appointed times.
If the reform was truly about accuracy, why was it issued as a papal decree rather than a scientific amendment? Why was it necessary for the pope to dictate the structure of global timekeeping rather than leaving it in the hands of astronomers and scholars? The answer is clear—this was never just about adjusting the calendar. It was about securing Rome’s dominion over time, worship, and the global order—an influence that remains unchallenged to this day.
The Julian calendar, established by Julius Caesar in 45 BC, miscalculated the length of a year by approximately 11 minutes, causing a gradual shift in important religious dates, including Easter. By the 16th century, this error had accumulated to about 10 days, and pope Gregory XIII, advised by Jesuit astronomers, removed 10 days from the calendar in October 1582 and introduced leap year corrections to prevent further drift. The reform was framed as a scientific necessity, but its effects went far beyond mere timekeeping.
This change further aligned the world with the Roman solar system, distancing it even more from the biblical method of timekeeping, which was based on the moon, sun, and stars, as ordained by God in Genesis 1:14. The Hebrew calendar, which Christ and His apostles followed, was lunar-based, dictating the timing of Sabbaths and feast days according to God’s divine design. The Gregorian reform severed this connection, ensuring that the entire world operated under a man-made solar cycle controlled by Rome.
This shift fulfilled the prophecy of Daniel 7:25:
The papacy had already changed God’s laws, replacing the Sabbath with Sunday. Now, with the Gregorian calendar, it changed time itself. By shifting the world onto a Roman solar system, the Vatican cemented its spiritual dominion over how time was measured and how religious observance was scheduled. This change ensured that pagan solar worship remained dominant, reinforcing the same system that had always been opposed to God's true order.
The Julian and Gregorian calendars are both solar-based, rooted in the worship of the Roman sun god. The leap year correction ensured that Rome’s most important pagan festival dates—including December 25th, the birthday of the sun god—remained intact. Even the removal of 10 days in 1582 was more than just a mathematical adjustment; it was an act of reshaping time under Rome’s authority and ensuring that biblical timekeeping was permanently erased from global consciousness.
The Gregorian calendar was more than a scientific fix—it was a strategic move to erase biblical timekeeping, fulfilling Daniel 7:25’s prophecy that the Beast system would change times and laws. By replacing the divinely appointed system with a man-made solar cycle, the Vatican completed its takeover of time itself. The world now operates on a calendar rooted in sun worship, not in the divine order established by God. Through this, Rome’s deception became absolute, severing the world from the true Sabbath and God’s appointed times, and fully integrating the Beast system’s control over time, law, and worship.
How Could the Elect Be Deceived?
Satan’s greatest weapon is not obvious evil—it is counterfeit righteousness. The papacy does not openly declare war on Christ; it claims to be His representative while actively undermining His truth. It wears the guise of holiness while enshrining pagan symbols, false doctrines, and spiritual control.
Revelation 13 describes the second beast—the false prophet—as one that looks like a lamb but speaks like a dragon. This imagery is crucial, because a lamb is pure white, symbolizing innocence, righteousness, and Christ Himself, the spotless Lamb of God (John 1:29). The deception lies in the outward appearance of holiness, purity, and godliness, while underneath, it speaks with the voice of the dragon—Satan himself.
This second beast masquerades as something sacred, cloaking itself in religious authority, imitating Christ in appearance while carrying out the agenda of darkness. It does not oppose Christianity outright—instead, it corrupts it from within, leading billions into deception while maintaining the illusion of righteousness.
This is the essence of the false prophet—a system or figure that claims to represent Christ but instead enforces the will of the Beast, deceiving even the elect (Matthew 24:24) If a lamb is meant to be pure, why does this one speak with the voice of a dragon? Because its purity is a façade, a disguise to hide its true nature—deception, control, and destruction. The deception is so complete that even the elect could fall for it. And indeed, billions have—not by worshipping an obvious enemy, but by following a counterfeit version of Christianity that subtly replaces Christ with a man-made system of control.
This is why Christ warned: "Take heed that no man deceive you" (Matthew 24:4). The deception is not in denying Christ outright—it is in replacing Him, redirecting devotion away from Him, and creating a false system of salvation.
We are living in the days of deception. The Antichrist spirit is not something to come—it has been here for centuries, working through a system that claims the authority of Christ while leading people into error. The only way to escape this deception is to return to God’s Word, to Christ alone, rejecting the false doctrines and lies woven into mainstream religious tradition.
The Obelisk as a Channel for False Light
As previously examined, obelisks were never just decorative structures—they were deliberately crafted as conduits for celestial energy. In ancient Egypt, they were dedicated to Ra, the sun god, and Osiris, serving as spiritual antennas meant to channel power from the heavens. But if Lucifer, the so-called "light-bearer," is truly the prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2), then what force is actually descending from these structures?
If obelisks derive their power from alignment with celestial forces, then what happens when they fall out of sync? Could this explain the urgency behind the Gregorian calendar reform, ensuring that time itself was realigned to their control? The shift was not merely about measuring time—it was about maintaining a precise connection between these structures and the unseen forces they serve.
In Revelation 18:23, we are told:
"For by thy sorceries were all nations deceived."
The Apparitions—A Spiritual Deception?
Throughout history, the Roman Catholic Church has promoted apparitions of "Mary", appearing in places like Fatima, Lourdes, and Medjugorje, where messages were supposedly given to humanity. But do these apparitions align with biblical truth, or are they part of the deception spoken of in Revelation?
Galatians 1:8 warns us:"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."
These apparitions introduce new doctrines and direct worship toward Mary, contradicting everything Christ taught. If Lucifer appears as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), then would it not make sense that he would also masquerade as a holy figure to lead billions astray?
Many of these apparitions promote the veneration of the "Queen of Heaven", but who exactly is this figure in Scripture?
The real "Queen of Heaven" in the Bible was not Mary—she was an ancient pagan goddess, a demon, whom God condemned as an abomination.
Jeremiah 7:18 explicitly states:"The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger."
In ancient times, the Queen of Heaven was worshipped in Babylon, Egypt, Canaan and Rome under many names:
Ishtar (Babylon)
Astarte (Phoenicia)
Asherah (Canaan)
Isis (Egypt) (Rome)
She was not a divine or righteous figure but a false deity associated with fertility, war, and celestial worship, often linked to Asherah poles, sun worship, and child sacrifice—practices explicitly condemned in Scripture.
In ancient Rome, Isis was revered as a powerful goddess of fertility, magic, and motherhood, adopted from Egyptian religious traditions. Her cult flourished across the Roman Empire, particularly during the late Republic and Imperial period, as Rome incorporated Egyptian deities into its expanding pantheon, blending foreign spiritual traditions with its own.
Judges 2:13 states, "And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth."
This verse reveals how Israel abandoned God and turned to the worship of Baal and Ashtaroth, deities deeply rooted in pagan idolatry. Baal, later known as Baal-Zebub, became associated with demonic influence and was identified in the New Testament as the prince of demons. Ashtaroth, or Astarte, was the female counterpart to Baal, worshiped as a goddess of fertility, war, and love. Over time, she became known as the "Queen of Heaven," a title that God explicitly condemned in Jeremiah 7:18 and Jeremiah 44:17-25, as her worship led to ritual prostitution, child sacrifice, and spiritual corruption. The fact that this same title is now used for Mary in the Catholic Church raises serious questions. Could it be that the Queen of Heaven, once a demonic entity that led Israel into apostasy, is the same deceptive force operating today under the guise of Marian veneration? If Baal-Zebub became the prince of demons, does this mean the Queen of Heaven is also a high-ranking deceiver? Scripture warns that Satan transforms himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14)—so could modern Marian apparitions be part of the same ancient deception that once led Israel astray?
God Commanded the Destruction of Asherah Poles (Which Resemble Obelisks)
The Bible is clear that God commanded His people to destroy all symbols of Asherah worship:
Deuteronomy 12:3:"And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place."
The "pillars" and "groves" (Asherah poles) that God commanded to be burned and destroyed were symbols of pagan worship. If obelisks are nothing more than stone Asherah poles, why has the Vatican preserved them rather than destroyed them?
The Vatican has long claimed exclusive authority over divine revelation, ensuring that only "approved" apparitions, miracles, and mystical experiences are recognized. If anyone outside their system experiences visions, revelations, or miracles that contradict their doctrinal control, they are dismissed as heresy, false mysticism, or even demonic deception.
This raises a critical question: If the Catholic Church truly represents Christ, why does it need to suppress unapproved spiritual experiences? If a miracle is from God, why would it need to be regulated by the pope?
The answer is clear—only the Vatican is allowed to persuade the masses through supernatural means. The entire Catholic hierarchy is built upon "divine legitimacy", using supernatural signs to justify its authority. If people began experiencing visions, healings, or revelations that contradicted the Roman Catholic Church, it would undermine their control.
By outlawing false mysticism, they ensure that only their system remains the arbiter of the supernatural, reinforcing the illegitimacy of their hierarchy while silencing any genuine divine revelation that exposes them.
Could the Apparitions Be Linked to These Ancient Deceptions?
If the Queen of Heaven in the Bible was a false deity, then why is the Catholic Church promoting a figure under the same title?
If God warned against "sorceries" that deceive nations, could it be that the apparitions, the miracles, and the messages from the so-called Virgin Mary are actually part of a larger deception—one designed to keep people in spiritual bondage under a false system of worship?
The Queen of Heaven in Scripture was a demon, and the Catholic Church has built its entire system around her "veneration".
The obelisk is an ancient spiritual conduit, and it stands in the heart of the Vatican, a city claiming to be the center of Christianity.
The apparitions that millions follow may not be divine at all, but rather part of the same deception God warned about in Revelation.
The Vatican’s Regulation of the Supernatural: Controlling Perception, Controlling Power
The approved apparitions of Fatima, Lourdes, and Medjugorje all reinforce one thing: veneration of Mary and obedience to the Church. These apparitions never point people directly to Christ, nor do they call out the Vatican’s corruption or expose false doctrine. Instead, they always emphasize submission to Rome, the pope, and Catholic sacraments. This is not coincidence—it is strategy.
Yet, throughout history, many visionaries, mystics, and prophets have experienced divine encounters that directly contradicted the Church’s teachings. What happened to them?
They were silenced. Excommunicated. Burned at the stake. Declared witches or heretics. Even Joan of Arc, who claimed to hear divine voices, was executed by a Church-controlled trial because her revelations did not conform to Catholic authority.
Ironically, while the Vatican claims to reject "false mysticism," it has spent centuries manufacturing its own. From weeping statues to Eucharistic miracles, relic veneration, and the mystical power of the sacraments, the Catholic Church has built its religious empire on supernatural claims.
This is because mysticism is essential to religious control. Without divine signs and wonders, why would people submit to a human religious authority? The Roman Catholic Church needs supernatural validation—but only when it can control the narrative.
This is why the pope and the Vatican have historically approved only the supernatural events that strengthen their rule. If miracles began pointing people away from the papacy, away from the priesthood, and directly to Christ, the Vatican’s entire foundation would crumble.
By declaring "false mysticism" illegal, they are not trying to protect people from deception—they are ensuring that only their system remains the arbiter of the supernatural. They fear genuine divine revelation, because it would expose their illegitimacy.
The scribes and Pharisees of Jesus' day held the same type of control over divine knowledge. They rejected Christ's miracles, silenced those who testified of Him, and even plotted to kill Lazarus after Jesus raised him from the dead (John 12:10-11), because his resurrection was proof of Christ’s power outside their system.
The Vatican is doing the same thing today. If an unapproved miracle or vision undermines their control, it is quickly dismissed as demonic or false mysticism. The pattern is clear:
If a vision, apparition, or supernatural sign reinforces the pope's authority, it is "from God."
If a vision exposes the Vatican's lies, it is "from the devil."
But how can a system that absorbed paganism, changed God’s Sabbath, built its empire on persecution, and justified idolatry suddenly be the only authority on divine truth? The hypocrisy is staggering.
If the pope truly represents Jesus Christ, why does he need to suppress unapproved spiritual experiences? If God is sovereign, why does a human institution need to regulate divine encounters?
The answer is clear—the Vatican’s control over mysticism is not about protecting people from deception; it is about ensuring that the deception remains firmly in place.
By suppressing genuine revelation and supernatural experiences that challenge their authority, the Vatican has ensured that only its deception prevails. The pope does not stand as Christ’s representative—he stands as a barrier between God and His people, controlling not only access to doctrine but access to the supernatural itself.
But true believers do not need the pope’s approval to hear from God. The Bible is clear:
"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." – John 10:27
The only question that remains is: Are you hearing His voice, or are you only hearing what Rome wants you to believe?
Simon Magus: The First False Prophet and the Doctrine of Devils
Simon Magus, also known as Simon the Sorcerer, was a man who deceived the people of Samaria through the use of demonic powers, making them believe that he himself was divine. His story, recorded in Acts 8:9-24, reveals the danger of counterfeit miracles and sorcery being used to lead people away from the true power of God. The deception of Simon Magus was not a mere trick—it was a spiritual battle, and his legacy of false miracles and heretical doctrines has continued through history in various forms, particularly in the false religious systems that blend pagan mysticism with Christianity.
The Bible tells us that Simon used sorcery to captivate the people, convincing them that he was someone of great power:
Acts 8:9-11:"But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries."
Simon did not perform miracles through the Holy Spirit—he did so through sorcery, a practice the Bible explicitly condemns as rebellion against God (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). Through demonic influence, he convinced the people that he possessed divine power, leading them into spiritual deception.
The fact that people worshipped him as "the great power of God" shows just how deep his deception ran. He was not just a magician—he was a false messiah, a forerunner of the same deception that would later be perfected by the antichrist system.
When Simon saw Philip preaching the gospel and performing true miracles through the power of God, he was amazed:
Acts 8:12-13:"But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done."
However, Simon’s "belief" was false—he was only fascinated by the miracles, not by the gospel. He saw true power and wanted it for himself, not to glorify God, but to maintain his own influence over the people.
This was proven when Simon tried to buy the Holy Spirit from the apostles:
Acts 8:18-19"And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost."
Simon Magus’ desire to buy spiritual power is the origin of false Christianity, a system where men attempt to commercialize the gifts of God and manipulate spiritual authority for personal gain. His sorcery and deception did not die with him—many early Christian writers recorded that Simon Magus later became a false teacher who mixed paganism with Christianity, forming the first heretical sect that would ultimately influence Gnosticism and the Roman mystery religion.
The Roman Catholic Church itself, through its false priesthood, its veneration of idols, its claims of mystical authority, and its fabricated miracles, bears a striking resemblance to the sorcery of Simon Magus. Like Simon, Rome has bewitched the nations through false signs, religious authority, and doctrines of devils.
Paul warned about this very deception:
1 Timothy 4:1:"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;"
Simon Magus was one of the first to introduce a "doctrine of devils"—a false gospel built on sorcery and deception. He did not point people to the true power of Christ but rather sought power for himself. This same false spirit of Simon Magus has continued throughout history in counterfeit Christianity, where man-made traditions, false miracles, and a corrupt priesthood keep people enslaved to a religious system rather than to Christ Himself.
The same deception that Simon Magus introduced—a religion built on sorcery, false authority, and counterfeit miracles—is alive today. Revelation warns that the false prophet will deceive the world through signs and wonders:
Revelation 13:13-14:"And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast."
Simon Magus sought power through sorcery; today, the same deception is used in modern religious systems to enslave believers under a false gospel.
We must pray for these lost souls, for their greed, arrogance, and jealousy of God have blinded them so completely that they seek to claim divine power for themselves. Just as their false god, Lucifer, sought to exalt himself above the Most High, so too do these earthly rulers, these false prophets and deceivers, who imitate the works of God through counterfeit signs and lying wonders.
But no matter how much they mimic divine authority, their deception is nothing more than a shadow of the true power of the Almighty. Just as Pharaoh’s magicians were able to counterfeit some of Moses’ miracles but could not stand against the true power of God, these sorcerers in high places will ultimately be exposed, judged, and destroyed.
For it is written:
"For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit." – Isaiah 14:13-15
No matter how much they lust after divine power, they will never be gods. They will never usurp the throne of the Almighty. The false prophet, the antichrist, and all those who follow the doctrines of devils will meet their appointed end, cast down just as their master was cast down.
Until that day comes, we must stand firm in the truth, refuse to be deceived by their false signs, and continue to call out to God, praying that those trapped in the lies of this world may yet find their way to salvation through Christ alone.
"For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens." – Psalm 96:4-5
The Most High alone reigns. No counterfeit power can stand against Him. And in the end, His truth will prevail.
Babylon WILL fall.
