Today, we delve into the true origins of "Lord's Day" Sunday worship, exposing how it is deeply rooted in Baal worship, which was later absorbed into Rome’s mystery religion under Jupiter. While many believe that Sunday is the biblical day of worship, Scripture proves otherwise—Christ was crucified before the Passover annual high Sabbath and resurrected on the weekly Sabbath, not Sunday.
So why has the world been conditioned to worship on Baal’s day instead of God’s Sabbath? The answer lies in centuries of deception, where the elite have made merchandise of the people (2 Peter 2:3), twisting truth to serve their own power structures. As Hosea 4:6 warns:
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee."
This is the great deception, and today, we uncover the truth behind Baal’s worship, its infiltration into Rome, and its continued grip on the world today.
Baal Worship and Rome’s Mystery Religion: The Hidden Deception
Baal worship never died—it was refined, repackaged, and absorbed into Rome’s religious system, ensuring that the world, while believing it follows Christ, is in reality kneeling before the same gods (demons) of Babylon. The deception is so complete that people do not question why they worship on Sunday, a day never sanctified in Scripture. They do not ask why the Vatican, the heart of institutionalized Christianity, is built upon the ruins of Jupiter’s temple, nor why obelisks—symbols of Baal and sun worship—stand defiantly in the center of St. Peter’s Square. The truth is evident for those willing to see: the very system that claims to represent Christ is in fact an extension of Rome’s ancient mystery religion, a counterfeit faith designed to lead people away from the true worship of God.
The Antichrist system warned about in Revelation.
Baal, whose name means “Lord” or “Master,” was the supreme deity of the Canaanites and Babylonians, associated with sun worship, fertility rites, and absolute dominion. His cult demanded "blood sacrifice", including child immolation, as a sign of devotion. This was not mere ritualism—it was spiritual enslavement, binding entire civilizations under demonic control. Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly warned His people not to partake in Baal worship, for it was directly opposed to Him. Yet Israel, time and time again, fell into it. The same system has ensnared the world today under a new name, disguising itself as Christianity while leading people into spiritual bondage.
The fusion of Baal worship into Roman religion was no accident. As Rome conquered the lands of the ancient world, it did not destroy their religions—it absorbed them. The mystery religions of Babylon, Phoenicia, and Egypt were woven into Rome’s pantheon, and Baal became synonymous with Jupiter, the chief god of the empire.Just as Baal was revered as the "father of the gods," Jupiter was exalted as Rome's "supreme father," with the pontifex maximus serving as his earthly representative. Both were sky gods, associated with storms and thunder, rulers over all other deities. The connection was seamless, and Rome continued the same worship under new symbols. But the final deception came when Rome’s empire transitioned into what is now called Christianity. The imperial cult, where Caesars were worshipped as divine, did not disappear—it was merely transferred to the office of the pope. The title pontifex maximus, once held by Jupiter’s high priest, was now worn by the leader of the Roman Catholic Church, making him the spiritual ruler of Rome’s mystery religion in the guise of Christ’s representative.
The evidence that they do not worship Christ is written in their own traditions. The early Church, under the apostles, continued to observe the seventh-day Sabbath, just as Christ did (Luke 4:16). But Rome, needing to maintain continuity with its imperial religion, instituted Sunday as the new sacred day—not to honour the resurrection, but to continue the veneration of the sun god. Constantine’s decree in AD 321 ensured that this change was enforced: "On the venerable day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed." The deception was cemented when the resurrection was falsely attributed to Sunday, despite clear biblical evidence that Christ was crucified before the High Sabbath of Passover and resurrected on the weekly Sabbath. The shift was not theological—it was political, designed to align Christianity with the existing solar cults of Rome.
The connection to Baal worship does not stop with Sunday observance. The Vatican itself stands as a temple to the gods of old, built directly upon what was once Jupiter’s temple on Vatican Hill. Obelisks, symbols of sun worship and phallic representations of Baal, were transported from Egypt and placed in the very heart of St. Peter’s Square. These are not Christian monuments; they are relics of paganism, instruments designed to draw down spiritual power, linking the Vatican to the same gods it claims to have conquered. And yet, rather than destroy them, the Church preserved them, integrating them into its religious landscape. Why? Because the same force that ruled Babylon, Egypt, and Rome continues to rule through the Vatican today.
The infiltration of Asherah worship further exposes the Vatican’s spiritual allegiance. Asherah, Baal’s consort, was worshiped as the Queen of Heaven, a title explicitly condemned in Scripture. In Jeremiah 7:18, God rebukes Israel for burning incense and making offerings to the Queen of Heaven, calling it an abomination. And yet, who is venerated within Catholicism as the "Queen of Heaven"? The Virgin Mary. But this is not the Mary of Scripture, the humble servant of God. This is a rebranded Asherah, the goddess of old, given a new identity to deceive millions into idolatry. The Marian apparitions—Fatima, Lourdes, Medjugorje—always emphasize submission to the Church and the pope, never direct worship to Christ alone. This is not coincidence; it is a calculated perpetuation of the same Baal-Asherah worship system that corrupted Israel.
To make matters worse, Rome continue to brazenly flaunt their allegiance to Baal, no longer even attempting to conceal it. In 2019, a statue of Moloch (another name for Baal) was placed in the Roman Colosseum—the very site where thousands of Christians were slaughtered in ancient Rome. This was not simply an art installation; it was a direct mockery of God and His people, a chilling declaration that the same Baal worship that ruled Rome in ancient times is still alive and well today. And yet, people remain blind to the biggest deception in history since Christ walked the earth.
Revelation 17:5 identifies this religious system as Mystery Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots, an institution that deceives the world while claiming to be the seat of Christendom. But if the pope and his institution truly represented Christ, why does every aspect of their worship align with pagan Rome rather than biblical truth? Why do they exalt themselves as intermediaries when Christ alone is the mediator (1 Timothy 2:5)? Why do they venerate the Queen of Heaven when God condemned such worship? Why do they cling to sun symbols, obelisks, and imperial titles if their allegiance is to Christ and not to the gods of old?
The deception is vast, and it is nearly complete. The world follows the traditions of Rome without question. They celebrate Baal’s feast days—Christmas, Easter, Halloween, May day, July 4th—believing them to be Christian. They worship on Baal’s day, Sunday, believing it to be the "Lord’s" Day. They submit to a priesthood that claims the power to forgive sins, a direct contradiction to Scripture. They venerate images, relics, and idols, despite God’s command against graven images. They place their trust in a system that has enslaved them, blind to the truth that the very institution they believe leads them to Christ is the one keeping them from Him.
Christ warned that many would come in His name and deceive many (Matthew 24:5). He warned that the whole world would be deceived (Revelation 12:9). He warned that only a remnant would remain faithful to God’s commandments (Revelation 14:12). The deception is not in the open—it is hidden in plain sight, concealed beneath centuries of tradition, doctrine, and false authority.
Rome does not serve Christ. It serves the same gods it always has, masquerading as the Church of God while leading the world into false worship.
Demonic Possession in Baal Worship: The Spirits Behind the False Gods
Baal worship was never just about ritualistic offerings or empty religious practices—it was a deeply spiritual system that involved direct interaction with demonic entities. The false gods of the ancient world were not just lifeless idols, but actual demonic spirits that sought to possess and control those who served them. The Bible makes it clear that the worship of false gods is, in reality, the worship of demons:
"They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not." – Deuteronomy 32:17
Baal was one of these "gods" that Israel repeatedly turned to, and his worship involved rituals designed to summon and interact with these spirits. One of the most common manifestations of this demonic presence was possession, where the worshipper would become an instrument of Baal’s power.
Possession Through Blood Sacrifice
Baal worship often included "human sacrifices", particularly the sacrifice of children. The Bible records how the Israelites, when they fell into Baal worship, began offering their own sons and daughters as burnt offerings.
"Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood." – Psalm 106:37-38
These sacrifices were not just ceremonial—they were designed to invoke the presence of Baal and his demonic forces. Ancient accounts describe priestly possession, where after offering blood sacrifices, priests and temple prostitutes would go into trance-like states, speaking with the voices of the gods, prophesying, or convulsing under spiritual influence.
One of the clearest examples of demonic possession in Baal worship is seen in 1 Kings 18, during Elijah’s confrontation with the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel. Elijah challenged them to call upon Baal to send fire from heaven, and their response was a display of frenzied demonic possession:
"And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them. And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded." – 1 Kings 18:28-29
This was not just fanaticism—this was a spiritual practice where worshippers sought to invite the spirit of Baal "into themselves". The cutting of flesh, the frenzied shouting, and the self-mutilation were all ritualistic signs of possession, meant to invoke demonic power. Similar practices can still be seen in certain occult rituals today.
Another key aspect of Baal worship was sacred prostitution, which was not only a symbol of spiritual adultery against God but also a means of demonic possession. Both men and women would engage in ritual sex acts within the temples, believing that through these "sacred unions," they could channel the divine power of Baal and Asherah.
These acts were more than just perversion; they were ritualistic invocations of demonic spirits, where worshippers would surrender themselves to spiritual entities through fornication. The Apostle Paul later warned against this very thing, saying:
"What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh… But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit." – 1 Corinthians 6:16-17
Paul understood that in pagan worship, these sexual rites were not just acts of immorality but a gateway for spiritual influence. Those who engaged in them were inviting demonic spirits into their lives.
Baal was not just worshiped through sacrifices and sex rituals—his priests were also involved in witchcraft, necromancy, and divination. Many of the Canaanite temples functioned as centers for communicating with the dead and consulting familiar spirits, something strictly forbidden by God.
"Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God." – Leviticus 19:31
Yet, under Baal worship, spirit possession and mediumship were common practices. The Bible describes how King Saul, after turning from God, consulted the Witch of Endor, who called up a spirit pretending to be the prophet Samuel (1 Samuel 28). This was a clear example of the same spiritual deception that was central to Baal worship—demonic spirits masquerading as divine messengers.
The Vatican’s Connection to Baal Worship and Possession
Baal’s worship may seem like an ancient and long-forgotten practice, but it never truly disappeared. It was absorbed into the mystery religions of Rome, where demonic possession continued under different names. The Vatican, which was built upon the Temple of Jupiter (the Roman name for Baal), still retains the same spiritual control mechanisms.
The priesthood remains a mediator between the people and "God"—just as the priests of Baal mediated between worshippers and their false god.
The use of relics, statues, and icons invites spiritual entities, just like the idols of Baal and Asherah.
Mystical encounters, apparitions, and unbiblical miracles are promoted, deceiving people into following the Vatican’s authority.
Revelation warns that the final deception will involve false miracles and demonic power, much like Baal worship of old.
"And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast." – Revelation 13:13-14
This is the same deception Elijah confronted—the false prophet calling down fire from heaven, leading people into idolatry and demonic possession.
Why We No Longer See Many Exorcisms: Baal’s Kingdom Does Not Divide Against Itself
When Jesus was accused of casting out demons by the power of Beelzebub (Baal-zebub, the “Lord of the Flies”), He responded with a profound truth that exposes the nature of demonic rule:
"And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?" – Matthew 12:26
Here, Christ reveals something critical—Satan does not work against himself. His kingdom is structured, strategic, and unified in its mission of deception and control. If he were to cast out demons by his own power, he would be undermining his own dominion. This is why, in modern times, we see fewer and fewer exorcisms—because in most cases, demonic forces no longer need to hide.
In ancient times, exorcisms were frequent because people recognized possession for what it was. The possessed would manifest violently, and spiritual warfare was evident. But today, we live in a world where possession is no longer viewed as a spiritual affliction—it is embraced, normalized, or even sought after.
Those who are controlled by demonic forces today do not want to be freed—they welcome their possession in exchange for power, influence, and wealth.
Consider the highly influential figures in politics, entertainment, and religious institutions—many openly engage in occult practices, rituals, and invocations, yet no one seeks to exorcise them. Why? Because they do not resist the spirits that control them. Instead, they embrace them, just as the priests of Baal did in the Old Testament.
Modern Society Has Embraced the Spirits of Baal
Baal worship was always about power through spiritual corruption. It was never just about bowing before an idol—it was about opening oneself to the demonic in exchange for supernatural strength.
Child sacrifice in Baal worship? Today, we see a culture that glorifies abortion, child exploitation, and blood rituals in entertainment.
Temple prostitution in Baal worship? Today, we see pornography, sexual perversion, and gender confusion being normalized and encouraged.
Demonic possession in Baal worship? Today, we see people voluntarily inviting spirits through drugs, meditation, music, and ritualistic behaviour.
This is not a coincidence—it is the same ancient system of Baal, operating under new names, but with the same goal: to enslave humanity under spiritual darkness.
Why Satan’s Kingdom Appears Stronger Today
Satan’s kingdom is advancing uncontested. The demonic now operates out in the open, disguised as entertainment, progressive ideologies, and “personal enlightenment.”
In the past, exorcisms were necessary because the possessed resisted their condition. Today, people desire it—they invite demonic forces through secret societies, ritualistic behaviour, drug use, spirit channeling, and occult practices. The spirits no longer need to hide.
But the Bible warns:
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." – Ephesians 6:12
The battle has never stopped—it has simply shifted. Satan’s kingdom is more powerful now because fewer people are resisting it. They are consumed by their insatiable lust for power, wealth, and depravity.
The Only True Deliverance Is in Christ
No priest, no Vatican rite, no institution holds the power to cast out demons apart from Christ. Deliverance is not through rituals or man-made traditions—it is through the authority of Jesus alone:
"And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils." – Mark 16:17
The world is more possessed now than ever, but no one is fighting back. The Vatican will not do it. The modern churches will not do it. Only those who walk in the true power of Christ, with no allegiance to the false system, can stand against the forces of Baal.
Do not be fooled by the constant battle between Catholicism and Protestantism. It is a carefully constructed psyop, a controlled opposition designed to make people believe they are choosing between two different sides when, in reality, both are rooted in the same Babylonian system of worship. The great deception is that while Protestants broke away from Rome in doctrine, they never truly broke away from its most significant corruption—Sunday worship, the day of Baal.
Protestants often pride themselves on rejecting the Roman Catholic sacraments, the papal authority, and the traditions of men. They will denounce the Mass as an unbiblical ritual, reject transubstantiation, and condemn the hierarchy of the Vatican. Yet, the majority of them continue to honour the very foundation of Rome’s religious authority—Sunday worship, a direct violation of God’s Sabbath commandment.
The Catholic Church openly boasts that it changed the Sabbath from the biblical seventh day to Sunday by its own authority. It was not by Christ’s command, nor by apostolic teaching, but by the decrees of Rome itself. The Catechism of the Catholic Church even states:
"Sunday is expressly distinguished from the Sabbath which it follows chronologically every week… the celebration of Sunday observes the moral commandment inscribed by nature in the human heart to render to God an outward, visible, public, and regular worship..." (CCC 2176)
Don't let them insult your intelligence or assume we are as naive as they believe.
Scripture is clear that the Sabbath was never changed. Christ Himself kept it, the apostles upheld it, and even in the new heaven and new earth, it will still be observed (Isaiah 66:22-23). So why do Protestants, who claim to follow "Scripture alone," still adhere to a man-made commandment issued by the very institution they claim to have rejected?
The truth is simple—Catholicism and Protestantism are two sides of the same coin. They may argue over doctrine, ritual, and church structure, but both remain under the Roman system of timekeeping and false worship. One simply maintains the sacraments while the other rejects them, yet both honour the "Venerable Day of the Sun," the day of Baal worship, the counterfeit Lord’s Day imposed by Rome.
Not only do they worship on the same false Sabbath, but they also observe the same pagan festivals—Easter, Christmas, Halloween, May Day, and even July 4th, which was originally a high festival of Baal worship. These celebrations were established long before Christ and were absorbed into both Catholicism and Protestantism, disguised under Christian terminology. Easter retains its connection to Ishtar, the fertility goddess. Christmas aligns with Saturnalia and the birth of the sun god. Halloween is rooted in Samhain and the veneration of the dead, while May Day was always a celebration of Baal and fertility rites. Even Independence Day in America, often thought to be a purely patriotic event, falls on the ancient midsummer fire festival of Baal.
This is not a battle of truth vs. error—it is a false dichotomy designed to keep believers blind to the real deception. Whether Catholic or Protestant, if one continues to worship on Sunday and observe these pagan holidays, they are still participating in the same Babylonian system that Rome established.
The question is not Catholic vs. Protestant—it is Truth vs. Babylon. The true remnant of God is not defined by denomination but by obedience to His Word. The time has come to see past the illusion and return to the commandments of God and the faith of Christ (Revelation 14:12).
The Destruction of Souls: Baal, False Religion, and the Cost of Ignorance
God’s warning in Hosea 4:6 is clear and chilling:
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”
This is not a mere poetic statement—it is a dire warning from God Himself. The destruction spoken of is not only physical but spiritual, an eternal separation from the Most High. But why? Because His people have rejected knowledge—not because it wasn’t available, but because they chose ignorance. Rather than seeking the truth in Scripture, they blindly followed the corrupt priesthood, trusting the words of men rather than the Word of God.
This lack of knowledge is not intellectual ignorance, but spiritual blindness, a willful rejection of God’s commands.
The Sabbath was never just a day of rest—it was a sign of the eternal covenant between God and His people.
God set apart the seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday) as holy, but Rome—under Baal’s influence—led the world into Sunday worship, the "Lord’s Day" of Baal, not of Christ. This was a deliberate breaking of God’s law, a deception that most people never question because they rely on the teachings of men rather than Scripture itself.
Isaiah 24:5 confirms this: “The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.”
The changing of the Sabbath was not just a small doctrinal shift—it was an attack on God’s eternal covenant, separating people from His divine protection. And those who accept it without question are falling into spiritual bondage, exactly as prophesied.
In Revelation 18:13, Babylon’s merchants are condemned for trafficking not just in goods, but in the souls of men:
“And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.”
This is not a metaphor—it is a literal indictment of a corrupt religious and economic system that thrives by selling human souls into deception.
The apostle Peter also warned of this deception in 2 Peter 2:3: “And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you.”
False teachers and corrupt religious leaders have turned faith into a business, selling forgiveness, indulgences, sacraments, and false hope to those who do not know any better. They keep people ignorant of the truth, ensuring that they never find true salvation in Christ but remain enslaved to religious systems built on lies.
Baal, like all false gods, is a front for demonic power. He demands worship, sacrifice, and submission, but his ultimate goal is not just power—it is the destruction of men’s souls.
Baal’s kingdom thrives on the very souls that unknowingly serve him. Every act of worship, whether intentional or through deception, strengthens the demonic realm. His power is not fueled by open allegiance alone, but by the masses who unknowingly walk in his system, rejecting the true God. The greatest deception is not in making people openly bow to Baal, but in keeping them enslaved within his framework—leading them to embrace false doctrines, counterfeit sabbaths, and corrupted religious practices. By ensuring they never question the traditions imposed upon them, he keeps them bound in spiritual chains, blind to the truth that could set them free.
This deception is designed to sever humanity from God’s protection. Satan’s ultimate goal has always been to lead people away from God’s covenant, knowing that in doing so, they forfeit divine covering. This is why the forces of darkness have relentlessly attacked God's commandments, corrupted the Sabbath, and twisted the Gospel of Christ—because without truth, people unknowingly remain under the dominion of the enemy, trapped in a system that disguises itself as righteousness while leading them to destruction. Meanwhile, those within secret societies and powerful institutions, fully aware of whom they truly serve, knowingly worship Baal and grow rich from the enslavement of the very souls they deceive. Their wealth and power are built upon the spiritual bondage of the masses, perpetuating a system that ensures only their dominion thrives while the world remains in darkness.
"In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."
— 2 Corinthians 4:4
Why Did God Command That Witches Be Put to Death?
Exodus 22:18 states: “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.”
This may seem harsh to modern readers, but when viewed through the lens of spiritual warfare, it becomes clear. Witches were not simply people practicing "magic"—they were those who actively hunted souls, leading people away from God and into demonic enslavement.
Ezekiel 13:18-20 describes this clearly: “Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you? And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?”
These witches and "false prophets" were trading in souls, much like the merchants of Babylon in Revelation. Their sorcery and deception led people to destruction, and God, in His justice, would not allow such soul-hunters to remain among His people.
The selling of souls did not end in ancient times—it continues today. The false religious system, the political elite, the secret societies, and even the entertainment industry all function within the same structure of Baal worship.
The Vatican, with its corrupt priesthood, indulgences, false sabbaths, and spiritual deceptions, is one of the biggest merchants of men’s souls. They keep people in spiritual slavery, just as Babylon did, and just as Baal’s priests did.
The people who lack knowledge—who do not study the Word for themselves—are the ones who fall into this trap, making the wicked richer and themselves poorer, both physically and spiritually.
God’s warning is clear—those who reject knowledge and follow blind leaders will be destroyed. But for those who seek the truth, study His Word, and obey His commandments, there is hope and salvation in Christ alone.
Isaiah 8:20 gives us the test: “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”
Those who reject the Sabbath, change God’s laws, and sell men’s souls through deception have no light in them. They serve Baal, not Christ.
The bull has been a symbol of dominion and wealth for millennia, a recurring image tied to power, fertility, and divine authority. At its core, it represents a spiritual legacy stretching from Baal worship to the halls of the Vatican, connecting the ancient cults of empire with the economic and religious structures of modern power. Beneath the surface of history, the bull remains the silent witness to an unbroken lineage of idolatry, wealth, and control—embodied in the title of pontifex maximus, the supreme priestly role that once served Jupiter and now rests with the pope.
In the ancient world, Baal was the god of storms, fertility, and material prosperity. His image, often depicted as a bull, represented virility, strength, and absolute dominion over the land. Baal was not merely a deity of nature; he was a god of kingship, the divine justification for earthly rule. To worship Baal was to align oneself with power and prosperity. This was precisely why the Israelites, after leaving Egypt, fashioned the Golden Calf—it was a return to the familiar gods of empire, to a system where material wealth and divine favour were inseparably linked.
Rome inherited this tradition. Though the names changed, the essence remained. The Roman god Jupiter, like Baal, was a sky deity, the king of gods, the granter of power to rulers. His high priest, the pontifex maximus, stood as the intermediary between gods and men, overseeing sacrifices, rituals, and the spiritual economy of the state. Central to these rites was the sacrifice of the bull, an offering of blood to reinforce the divine order. This was the same Rome that crucified Christ, rejecting His kingdom not of this world in favour of the material supremacy of empire.
When the Roman Empire transitioned into the "Holy" Roman Empire, the title pontifex maximus did not disappear—it was absorbed by the papacy. The Pope became the supreme priest of the world, inheriting the very title that once belonged to the high priest of Jupiter. But Jupiter, in essence, was Baal. The continuity is undeniable: a spiritual system predicated on wealth, sacrifice, and dominion persisted under a different name.
The papal bull became the new instrument of authority, a decree carrying the weight of empire. Instead of sacrificing a physical bull to maintain divine favour, the Vatican established itself as the seat of earthly power through financial control, indulgences, and the consolidation of vast wealth. The church no longer spilled blood on altars (yet has plenty of bones underneath them) it wielded power over kings and nations through economic and spiritual decree. Papal Bulls were used to divide lands, sanction conquests, and bind rulers to the will of Rome. Just as Baal demanded tribute, the Vatican positioned itself as the arbiter of divine inheritance, demanding submission through doctrine, politics, and wealth.
The rejection of Christ was not merely a historical moment—it was a theological structure. Where Christ offered a kingdom not of this world, the system of Baal-Jupiter-Pontifex Maximus was a kingdom entirely of this world, a structure built upon the authority of man, the power of wealth, and the control of spiritual destiny. Christ overturned the tables of the money changers in the temple, rejecting the fusion of commerce and worship. Yet, in the modern world, the Vatican sits atop one of the greatest financial empires in history, entwined with global banking and economic control, mirroring the same systems of material dominion that Baal once represented.
The symbol of the bull has not disappeared; it has simply evolved. It stands on Wall Street, a monument to the economic forces that govern nations. It stands in the halls of power, where wealth dictates policy. And it stands in the Vatican, where the pope, as pontifex maximus, continues the legacy of Jupiter’s high priest—managing the wealth of an empire built not on the teachings of Christ, but on the same structures that ruled Rome, Babylon, and Canaan before it.
To follow the bull through history is to see a pattern of spiritual deception—a system where power and prosperity are worshipped under different names, where the rejection of Christ is not a single act but an ongoing structure, embedded in the very institutions that claim spiritual authority. The bull is not just a symbol of wealth; it is the mark of an ancient order, one that continues to shape the world through financial, religious, and political dominion.
And an outright denial of Christ and His gospel of salvation.
"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"
— Mark 8:36
