From Julius Caesar to Pope Gregory
A quick important recap.
From the very beginning, the Sabbath was not just for Israel, nor was it a temporary law given at Mount Sinai. It was established at creation itself when God sanctified the seventh day as a day of rest. Genesis 2:2-3 declares, "And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made." This blessing and sanctification of the seventh day took place before there was an Israel, before Abraham, and before Moses. This shows that the Sabbath was not just a Jewish law—it was a divine ordinance for all mankind from the foundation of the world. Later, in Exodus 20:8-11, God reminded Israel to "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy," confirming that it was already an established commandment from creation.
Moreover, Exodus 31:16-17 declares, "Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed." While this verse speaks specifically to Israel, it repeats the origin of the Sabbath at creation, showing that it was not an Israelite institution but a divine law rooted in the creation of the world. It was to be a perpetual, everlasting covenant, signifying obedience to God.
The First Great Violation: Rome Under Julius Caesar
The Roman Empire, with its focus on conquest, commerce, and worldly power, directly opposed God’s law, including the Sabbath. Julius Caesar, who reshaped the empire in the first century B.C., implemented the Julian calendar in 45 B.C., which ignored the biblical seven-day cycle. Instead of honouring the Sabbath as ordained by God, Rome followed its own time system, one that promoted continual labour, commerce, and military campaigns even on the holy Sabbath day.
Nehemiah 13:17-18 warns against profaning the Sabbath: "Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day? Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? Yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath."
Just as Israel faced judgment for breaking the Sabbath, Rome too would face divine consequences. The empire that seemed invincible eventually collapsed, falling into moral and political decay. By rejecting God's covenant, Rome ensured its own destruction.
The Second Great Violation: Pope Gregory and the Changing of the Sabbath
If Julius Caesar broke the Sabbath by promoting a godless calendar, the greater transgression came through the Roman Catholic Church. For the first few centuries after Christ, many early Christians still honoured the Sabbath, understanding its foundation at creation. However, under pope Gregory I in the seventh century, a direct attack on Sabbath-keeping was launched.
Pope Gregory denounced Sabbath observance as "Judaizing" and promoted Sunday worship instead of the biblical Sabbath. This was a deliberate shift away from God's law and towards a tradition rooted in Roman paganism. Sunday, the day of the Sun-god, was now elevated above the holy seventh-day Sabbath.
In a letter written around 601 AD, he addressed certain Christians who were still observing the biblical Sabbath (Saturday) and warned against it. He wrote:
"Furthermore, it has come to my ears that certain men of perverse spirit have sown among you some things that are wrong and opposed to the holy faith, so as to forbid any work being done on the Sabbath day. What else can I call these but preachers of Antichrist?"
This statement clearly shows that pope Gregory saw Sabbath-keeping as a threat to the authority of the Church and associated it with heresy. By calling those who observed the Sabbath "preachers of Antichrist," he effectively demonized those who upheld God’s original commandment. In reality, the name Vicarius Filii Dei in Latin calculates to 666, the very symbol of the Antichrist.
This was a continuation of Rome’s strategy—not only had the Sabbath been replaced by Sunday under Constantine in 321 AD, but now, those who still observed the Sabbath were being labeled as dangerous heretics.
If the papacy were truly of God, why would it condemn obedience to one of God’s commandments? Why would it call the Sabbath "Judaizing" when it was established before Israel even existed (Genesis 2:2-3)? This is yet another clear sign that papal Rome was never about restoring God’s truth—it was about enforcing its own authority, even if it meant rewriting history, altering divine law, and vilifying those who refused to comply.
Ezekiel 20:12-13 warns about breaking the Sabbath: "Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them. But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness… they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them."
By changing God’s ordained Sabbath to Sunday, the Roman Church led the world into rebellion. Just as Israel faced judgment for defiling the Sabbath, the medieval world fell into spiritual darkness during the reign of the papacy. The corruption, persecution, and false doctrines that followed were the direct results of abandoning God's commandments.
Both Rome under Julius Caesar and Rome under pope Gregory violated God’s eternal Sabbath, leading to moral decay, judgment, and destruction. Yet, the Bible promises that the Sabbath will be restored in the future kingdom of God.
Isaiah 66:22-23 declares, "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD."
This verse confirms that the Sabbath is not abolished but will continue forever, even in the new earth. The call to return to Sabbath-keeping is a call to return to God's eternal covenant.
History reveals a tragic pattern: when nations reject the Sabbath, they invite destruction upon themselves. Julius Caesar and the Roman Empire fell. The papal system led the world into darkness. Yet, God’s law remains unchanged. The Sabbath, established at creation, will never be abolished.
Isaiah 58:13-14 gives a final promise: "If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable… Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD."
The question is clear: Will we follow God’s eternal covenant, or will we repeat the sins of Rome?
Papal Rome: The Preservation of Paganism Under the Veil of Christianity
If Papal Rome were truly of God, it would have restored His law, His calendar, and His truth. Instead, it doubled down on the pagan traditions of Rome, ensuring that the world remained in spiritual Babylon, blinded from the commandments of God. The very fact that the papacy upheld pagan festivals, manipulated time to align with sun worship, distorted Scripture, and forbade the people from reading the Bible is undeniable proof that it was never the Church of God but the continuation of Pagan Rome under a Christian disguise.
Had the papacy been established by God, it would have restored His divine calendar, recognizing that time itself was ordained by God at creation (Genesis 1:14-19). The Hebrew calendar, based on the lunar cycle as God designed, was discarded in favour of the Julian calendar, introduced by Julius Caesar in 46 B.C., a system that aligned time with the solar cycle in order to maintain the Roman festival system.
The corruption of time did not stop with Julius Caesar. When the inaccuracies of the Julian calendar became evident, pope Gregory XIII introduced the Gregorian calendar in 1582, not to align with God’s order, but to preserve the timing of Roman Catholic holy days—particularly Easter, which was rooted in the pagan worship of Ishtar, the goddess of fertility and magic, known as the Queen of Heaven.
If the papacy were truly led by God, why did it not correct the entire system and return to the true biblical reckoning of time? Instead, it ensured that the spring equinox remained fixed, ensuring that the world followed the sun-worship-based calendar of ancient Rome. The leap year was not an invention for the sake of accuracy—it was a tool to keep the Roman pagan festival cycle intact.
This was not the work of a Church seeking to return to God’s order. This was the work of a system determined to preserve the very essence of pagan Rome under the name of Christ.
Why Did Pope Gregory I Call Mary Magdalene a Prostitute?
Another key deception propagated by papal Rome was the deliberate distortion of Mary Magdalene’s identity. In 591 A.D., pope Gregory I declared that Mary Magdalene was the unnamed sinful woman who anointed Jesus' feet in Luke 7:37-38. Yet nowhere in Scripture is Mary Magdalene ever identified as a prostitute.
Why would the papacy push this falsehood?
The answer is simple: Mary Magdalene was a powerful figure in Christ’s ministry. She was the first to see the resurrected Christ (John 20:11-18), a role that gave her undeniable authority. By labeling her a prostitute, Rome sought to diminish her influence, reducing her from a devoted disciple to a woman of sin.
This was yet another example of papal Rome rewriting history to fit its agenda. Just as it altered God's time and law, it altered the perception of key biblical figures to suit its doctrine and reinforce male-dominated priestly authority.
One of the clearest proofs that papal Rome was never of God is its war against the Bible itself. If the Church had been the guardian of truth, it would have encouraged all people to read God’s Word. Instead, it did the exact opposite.
For centuries, the papacy banned the reading of Scripture in common languages. The Council of Toulouse (1229 A.D.) strictly forbade laypeople from owning the Bible. The Council of Trent (1545-1563) reaffirmed that only the Church had the authority to interpret Scripture.
But why?
Because if people had read the Bible for themselves, they would have seen the truth staring them in the face. They would have realized that papal Rome had altered God’s commandments, instituted pagan traditions, and ruled through deception.
Men like William Tyndale sought to break this stranglehold by translating the Bible into English. For this crime, he was burned at the stake in 1536. His final words before dying were, "Lord, open the King of England’s eyes.".
(Maybe the King of England wasn’t too keen on having his eyes opened—especially if the rumors are true that his bloodline traces back to the Pharaohs. After all, why else would his heraldry flaunt the lion, the symbol of the original Queen of Heaven, the mother goddess of all abominations on earth—Ishtar herself?)
If Rome had truly been of God, it would have rejoiced in the spread of Scripture. Instead, it fought to keep the people in darkness. Why? Because the truth would have set them free (John 8:32), and the papacy’s power depended on keeping them enslaved.
The Spirit of Babylon Continues
From the moment that Christ was crucified, the spirit of Babylon has sought to suppress, alter, and destroy the truth. The same system that crucified Christ later became the system that claimed to rule in His name. The same Pharisees who rejected His commandments were mirrored in the popes who enforced traditions over Scripture.
Revelation 17:4-5 describes the great harlot as follows:
"And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."
Is this not a perfect description of papal Rome, with its golden chalices, scarlet-robed cardinals, and idolatrous ceremonies?
This system did not end with the crucifixion of Christ—it continued through the Roman Empire and into the papacy. It is the same Babylonian spirit that altered God’s time, suppressed His Word, and maintained the traditions of paganism under the name of Christ.
The Breaking of the Eternal Covenant: The Core of the Rebellion
God’s covenant is eternal. It is not subject to change, revision, or reinterpretation by men. Psalm 89:34 states:
"My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips."
Yet the Roman Catholic Church has systematically dismantled God’s divine order, altering the laws He declared to be unchangeable. The Sabbath, established at creation itself (Genesis 2:3), was discarded in favor of Sunday, the day of the Sun-god, through the decrees of emperors and popes. God’s commandment against murder was blatantly ignored through the Crusades, the Inquisition, and the countless slaughters in the name of "just war." Even the most sacred of commandments, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me" (Exodus 20:3), was violated by Rome’s introduction of saint veneration, idol worship, and prayers directed to anyone but God Himself.
Futhermore, the worship of the sun-god, known under countless names throughout history—Baal, Marduk, Moloch, Shamash, Helios, Sol Invictus—was never about honoring a deity. It was always about something far darker: the enslavement of humanity under spiritual principalities that opposed God from the very beginning. These entities were not simply gods of myth; they were real, fallen beings who ruled the nations, masquerading as divine forces of light, power, and prosperity. The world did not just fall into idolatry by accident—it was placed under bondage to elemental spirits, powers that demanded worship and sacrifice in exchange for earthly dominion.
Scripture makes it clear that before Christ came, the nations were enslaved, not merely to false beliefs, but to actual spiritual forces that held authority over them. In Galatians 4:8-9, Paul reveals the true nature of this bondage:
"Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?"
Paul speaks of the elements—the stoicheia, the spiritual forces that ruled over the nations before Christ. These were not just lifeless idols; they were real spiritual entities, fallen powers that exerted control over human civilization. The sun-god Baal, Shamash, and his many counterparts were nothing more than manifestations of these forces, spirits that required nations to worship them in order to receive their blessing—blessings of war, conquest, prosperity, and rule.
This is why every major civilization before Christ—from Babylon to Egypt, from Greece to Rome—was built upon the worship of the sun. They believed that by aligning themselves with the sun-god, they would receive divine favor and be transformed into gods themselves. This is the very lie that Satan whispered in the garden, "Ye shall be as gods" (Genesis 3:5). It is the same deception that has fueled the occult, secret societies, and the elite rulers of the world ever since.
In Deuteronomy 4:19, God warns against this worship of the sun, moon, and stars, not because they are merely inanimate objects, but because behind them lie spiritual forces that were given dominion over the nations:
"And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the Lord thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven."
God allowed the nations to walk in their own ways, to serve these spirits, but Israel was called out from that bondage. The Sabbath, the covenant, the law—these were given as a separation, a means to break away from the dominion of these false powers. But time and time again, Israel turned back to the worship of Baal, to the sun-god, and every time, judgment followed.
Rome did not abandon this system; it perfected it. The transition from pagan Rome to papal Rome was never a true conversion—it was a continuation of the old order under the guise of Christ. The popes were not inheritors of Peter’s faith; they were inheritors of Caesar’s throne, carrying forward the same sun-worship traditions that had ruled the world since Babylon. The adoption of Sunday, the veneration of solar imagery, the alignment of feasts with equinoxes and solstices—none of this was accidental. It was a continuation of the ancient system that kept mankind bound to the elemental spirits of the heavens, ensuring that Rome’s dominion would remain unbroken.

Revelation 13:13 gives a chilling description of the beast that would deceive the world, saying:
"And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men."
What is this fire from heaven? In ancient times, rulers who claimed divine favor from the sun-god were said to wield fire itself. The priests of Baal on Mount Carmel attempted to call down fire from heaven to prove their god’s power, but they were unable, because Baal is not a god—he is a spirit, a deceiver, an entity that required the sacrifice of men to empower his throne (1 Kings 18:24-39).
This is why sun worship is always accompanied by bloodshed. Every civilization that built its empire on the sun was also built on conquest, sacrifice, and war. Baal, Marduk, Shamash—these were "gods" (demons) of fire, of war, of empire, of human sacrifice. They required kings to shed blood to maintain power.
This is why Rome wielded the sword in the name of faith. The Crusades, the Inquisition, the destruction of civilizations in the Americas, the wars fought under papal banners—these were not the works of Christ. These were the works of the same elemental forces that ruled through Babylon and Rome before it. The Church of Rome does not serve the Gospel; it serves the same ancient powers that have enslaved mankind for millennia.
And yet, the deception goes even deeper. Rome was not content to merely continue the traditions of sun worship; it sought to complete the lie. The ultimate goal of the Babylonian priesthood was not just to worship the sun, but to become gods themselves. This is why the emperors of Rome declared themselves divine. It is why the popes claim infallibility, why they are called "Holy Father," why they are carried on thrones, crowned with golden mitres, and dressed in the very garments that the priests of Shamash once wore.
Isaiah 14:13-14 exposes the very mindset that has driven this system for thousands of years:
"For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."
This is the goal of every pagan system: to usurp the throne of God, to create a counterfeit divine order, to place the worship of creation above the Creator. And it is this very system that the Roman Catholic Church has carried forward—not the faith of the apostles, not the truth of Christ, but the spiritual bondage of Babylon, hidden beneath a cross.
But God has already decreed the fall of this system. Revelation 18:2 declares:
"Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird."
The deception will not last forever. The spiritual chains that have enslaved the nations under the elemental spirits will be broken. The sun-god will be cast down, the false church will fall, and the world will finally see that Christ was never in Rome.
Baal is not a god. Shamash is not a god. They are elemental spirits that kept mankind in bondage for millennia. And the papacy has been their greatest tool. But the chains are only strong for those who refuse to see them. The time is coming when they will be shattered forever.
How can a system that routinely disregards the very laws it claims to uphold be of Christ? Christ did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it (Matthew 5:17). If the papacy were truly His representative on earth, it would have reinforced God’s commandments—not altered, replaced, or outright destroyed them.
Raising the Sword: The Just War Theory and the Murder of Millions
One of the most undeniable proofs that papal Rome is not of Christ is its long history of bloodshed. Christ Himself declared in Matthew 26:52, "For all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword." Yet the Catholic Church built its power through war, persecution, and coercion, wielding the sword as a tool of control.
The Just War Theory, developed by Catholic theologians like Augustine and Thomas Aquinas, gave theological justification for the Church to wage war in the name of God. This doctrine directly contradicts Christ’s teachings, which commanded love, mercy, and peace. Instead, under the banner of papal Rome, the world witnessed:
The Crusades, where millions of Muslims, Jews, and even other Christians were slaughtered in holy wars.
The Inquisition, where "heretics" were tortured and burned alive simply for questioning Rome’s doctrines.
The Conquistadors, who massacred entire civilizations in the Americas under the banner of Catholicism.
The Persecution of Protestants, where untold numbers of believers were hunted, imprisoned, and executed for daring to read the Bible.
If the Catholic Church were truly of Christ, would it have waged war in His name? Would it have killed those who disagreed with it? Christ Himself never called for war—He rebuked His disciples for even considering violence, healing the ear of the Roman soldier when Peter struck him (Luke 22:51).
No institution that murders, tortures, and sheds blood in the name of God can claim to be of Christ. The Just War Theory is not a Christian doctrine—it is the same warlike mindset that Pagan Rome used to conquer nations and expand its empire, only now draped in religious robes.
Divine Favor from the Sun-God: The Ultimate Deception
From the beginning, Papal Rome has borrowed its power not from Christ, but from the same pagan sources that ruled the ancient world. Every major civilization before Christ—Babylon, Egypt, Persia, Greece, and Rome—believed that worshipping the sun granted divine favor.
The Roman emperors, long before the establishment of the Roman Catholic Church, claimed that their right to rule came from the gods, specifically the sun-god Sol Invictus. This belief persisted into the Catholic era, where the pope was elevated to a position of divine authority, just as the emperors were before him. The transition from pagan Rome to papal Rome was never about Christianity—it was about maintaining the empire under a new religious disguise.
Revelation 13:13 describes a beast that "maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men." Fire from heaven was always associated with divine favor—the sign that a ruler or priest had been chosen by the gods (demons). This is the very basis of sun worship, where kings and priests believed that by aligning with the sun, they received power and legitimacy.
The sun brings fire down from heaven every day—it is the source of heat, light, and life in the natural world. Pagan rulers believed that by aligning themselves with this force, they could become gods themselves. This is why every ancient kingdom was built around solar cycles, sun gods, and the worship of celestial fire.
The Roman Catholic Church continued this very tradition:
The pope’s golden sunburst monstrance, used in the Eucharist, mimics the solar disc of pagan worship.
Catholic churches are often aligned with solar events, just as pagan temples were.
The Gregorian calendar, introduced by Pope Gregory XIII, ensured that the entire world remained synchronized with sun-worship-based timekeeping.
The halo, which is commonly depicted around Christ and saints in Catholic iconography, is a solar crown, the same as those worn by pagan sun-gods like Ra, Apollo, and Sol Invictus.
If the Catholic Church were truly of God, why did it preserve, refine, and expand upon the solar-worship practices of the ancient world? Why did it not restore God’s time, God’s order, and God’s covenant? Instead of aligning the world with God’s commandments, it ensured that the world remained under the same system of divine rulership that existed in Babylon and Rome.
The Final Proof: Rome’s Own Admission of Its Power
The greatest irony is that papal Rome does not even hide the fact that it changed God’s laws, waged war, and preserved pagan traditions. It boasts of these changes as proof of its authority.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church openly states that the Church has the authority to change divine law, a statement that no true servant of God would ever make. The Catholic Church does not claim to derive its power from Scripture—it claims that it is the authority over Scripture.
By openly declaring itself above God’s Word, Rome has exposed itself as the very system of spiritual rebellion that Scripture warns about—the final phase of the empire that began in Babylon, continued through Pagan Rome, and now rules as Papal Rome.

If the bloodline of Egypt’s pharaohs truly flowed through Alexander the Great, Crete, Greece, Britain, and inevitably into the Americas, as many believe, then it makes perfect sense why their symbols never changed—only their thrones did. The lion, the emblem of Ishtar, the so-called Queen of Heaven, still reigns in royal heraldry, just as it looms over Hollywood’s Lionsgate, a corporation aptly named after the very goddess of magic and deception. And what is Hollywood, if not the modern-day sorcery that shapes reality with illusion, much like the rulers of old who claimed divine right over the masses? Why does Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer use a roaring lion as its film logo if not as a symbol of the demonic Queen Ishtar herself? Coincidence? Or just another sign that Babylon never really fell—it just rebranded.
"for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived." Revelation 18:23
And speaking of illusions, why did a certain former world leader hold the Bible upside down while claiming to follow it? Was that an accident, or just another symbolic gesture, like everything else they do? Is this why media moguls—the architects of mass deception—are receiving awards from the Pope himself? What exactly are they being rewarded for? Shaping reality? Keeping the illusion alive?
Why are all politicians somehow multi-millionaires despite earning salaries that shouldn’t make them rich? Why are they all conveniently members of think tanks, secret societies, and elite clubs that the average person can never enter? Why does the very currency that fuels this system bear a prayer to Jupiter (Baal), with his all-seeing eye, under the false pretense that it honors Christ?
Maybe the deception isn’t just in politics, media, or finance—maybe it’s all one system, just with different masks.
Anyone who dares to expose their deception always seems to get silenced one way or another—so let’s see how this plays out. As for the demonic entities that were sent to my house? They lost. I was saved at just the right moment, not just for myself, but to spread the truth.
