Living Stones and Becoming the Temple of God

Long before the serpent slithered into Eden, a radiant being stood among the precious stones in the garden of God. Ezekiel 28 describes him as cloaked in glory, perfect in beauty, anointed as a guardian cherub. This being, widely understood as Satan before his fall, was not a caricature of evil — he was majestic, luminous, and near the throne of God. But perfection, even celestial, is no guarantee against pride. “You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you,” says the prophet. Pride shattered that perfection. And from the light, he descended into rebellion.
The original rebel offered something tantalizing: forbidden knowledge, perhaps symbolic of divine secrets and power, which has echoed through mythologies and religions ever since. Consider the Prometheus legend, the titan who stole fire from the gods to give to mankind. That myth mirrors Genesis 3 almost exactly. “You shall not surely die… you will be like God,” said the serpent. This offering; to become like God on one’s own terms; is the root of all esotericism, occultism, and the modern surge of transhumanism. It is man reaching for heaven by forbidden means.
In reality, Adam and Eve were already like God; filled with His Spirit and walking in direct communion with Him.
This rebellion against divine boundaries is not confined to the garden. It mutates and expands through time. Genesis 6 introduces a darker twist: not just knowledge, but genetic trespass.
“When the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them…” (Genesis 6:4)
According to ancient texts like 1 Enoch and echoed in early Jewish thought, these children became what Scripture later refers to as “unclean spirits” or demons; restless, bodiless entities seeking habitation among the living (see Matthew 12:43–45, Mark 5:1–13).
Unlike the fallen angels who were bound, these spirits roam the earth, desiring embodiment. This may explain the rise of possession after the flood; not merely influence, but actual inhabitation of human hosts.
This could also shed light on the figure of Nimrod, described in Genesis 10:8–9 as “a mighty one on the earth”; the same Hebrew phrase used for the Nephilim before the flood. The text says, “He began to be a mighty one,” which some scholars suggest implies a transformation; that he became Nephilim, rather than being born as one.
This transformation could have occurred through demonic possession, allowing an unclean spirit to empower or inhabit Nimrod, granting unnatural strength, charisma, immortality, and authority. In this view, Nimrod wasn't just a rebel or hunter of men, but the prototype of post-flood hybrid power; a vessel of spiritual corruption, laying the foundation for Babylon, the archetypal city of rebellion against God.
Thus, after the flood, while the genetic line of the Nephilim may have been interrupted, the spiritual agenda continued; not through birth alone, but through possession, seeking once again to defile humanity, oppose God’s kingdom, and raise up counterfeit dominion on the earth. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they lost the indwelling presence of the Spirit; the protective glory that once filled and shielded them. That vacancy left humanity vulnerable. No longer sealed by God's Spirit, humans became open vessels. And into that emptiness, these fallen beings came. Not just into the physical body, but into the spiritual domain of mankind. Possession; not only of individuals, but of entire generations.
“And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying, ‘Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.’”
— Revelation 18:2 (ESV)
Through the Babylonian system; a global structure of spiritual and earthly control; Satan established a counterfeit kingdom designed to lead humanity away from God. This system finds its roots in Nimrod, the rebellious founder of Babel, through whom sorcery, astrology, witchcraft, and human sacrifice were institutionalized. Alongside him rose Ishtar, the so-called “Queen of Heaven,” whose cult ushered in the worship of fertility, celestial powers, and the veneration of the dead.
Together, they laid the foundations of a satanic priesthood, a religious-political machine cloaked in mysticism and ritual, through which Satan could channel spiritual deception; and through which elite rulers could dominate, profit, and enslave. It was more than empire; it was spiritual warfare codified into culture.
This is not mere corruption; it is a carefully engineered architecture of deception, designed to replace the truth of God with idolatry, to distort the image of God in man, and to keep the masses enslaved in sin, fear, and spiritual blindness. Babylon is not just ancient history; it is the template of all godless power systems, still active, still growing, still seeking to devour.
Clothed in Light, Corrupted by Fire: The Fall of Man as a Spiritual Rewiring
Before fig leaves and fear, before exile and entropy, mankind stood radiant. According to many biblical scholars; including Doug Hamp; Adam and Eve were not merely naked in the physical sense, but clothed in divine light. They walked in perfect communion with their Creator, bearing His image and reflecting His glory. There was no shame because there was no separation. No darkness could touch them, because the light was not external; it was the very fabric of their being.
Genesis 2:25 says they were “naked and unashamed.” But when sin entered, Genesis 3:7 tells us, “the eyes of both were opened, and they knew they were naked.” Something profound happened here. A light went out. A glory departed. The covering of God's presence; which Psalm 104:2 says is “light as a garment”; was removed.
Lucifer, once the anointed cherub, had stood amidst the stones of fire (Ezekiel 28:14). Covered in precious stones, radiant with glory, he too had once borne divine light.
So when he appeared in the garden, he didn’t just offer fruit. He offered transformation — “You will be like God,” he said. This was not just temptation. It was an act of war. Lucifer offered a shortcut to divinity, bypassing obedience, intimacy, and God’s design. It was the original counterfeit gospel: become godlike without God.
God had said, “In the day you eat of it, you will surely die” (Gen. 2:17). But Adam and Eve continued breathing. The death was not physical at first; it was spiritual. The light of God’s presence was extinguished in them. They became like a lamp unplugged from the source; still bearing the shape, but not the shine.
Romans 5:12 says sin entered the world through one man, “and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people.” This death wasn’t just legal guilt. It was ontological collapse. The image of God; once radiant and whole; became fractured. Their DNA, spiritual or even biological, was touched by corruption.
Paul’s description in Romans 7:24 is telling: “Who will rescue me from this body of death?” The fall didn’t just affect minds or souls; it rewrote the condition of the human body itself.
Their “eyes were opened,” Scripture says. But not to divine glory; to shame, fear, and blame. The serpent offered enlightenment, but delivered confusion. What Adam and Eve experienced was not God’s omniscience, but Satan’s awareness: a distorted, fearful, self-protective consciousness. They hid from God. They blamed each other. They felt exposed because they were exposed; not to the world, but to themselves. Through disobedience, the light was gone.
Romans 8 tells us that all creation was subjected to corruption and now groans for redemption. “Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait… for the redemption of our bodies” (Romans 8:23). This implies that the fall didn’t just touch human behavior, but the very cellular structure of life.
Theologians and scholars have long debated the implications: Could sin have embedded itself in the genome? Could the serpent’s interference have altered not only spiritual DNA but physical? If the image of God was coded into humanity, then the enemy's attack was a direct strike against that code.
Fast-forward to the New Testament, and we see the solution emerge; not as a program or philosophy, but as a Person. John 1:4–9 declares that in Christ was life, and that life was the light of men. “The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.”
Jesus didn’t come merely to save — He will come to restore. The incarnation was not symbolic. It was genetic. “God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh” (Romans 8:3) tells us Christ entered into the same biology; but without corruption. He became the new Adam (1 Corinthians 15), not just morally, but materially. His resurrection is the prototype of humanity’s final form; immortal, radiant, reconnected.
Restoring the Image of God from the Babylonian System
From Eden to New Jerusalem, the story of humanity is more than a moral arc; it is a war over light, frequency, and identity. It began with beings of radiance, clothed in divine glory. It ends with a city that shines like a jewel, constructed from twelve precious stones, resonating with the unbroken harmony of heaven. And in between, a cosmic adversary; once cloaked in light himself; has devoted his power to corrupting the frequencies, hijacking the image, and maintaining a system that keeps humanity disconnected from its original design.
Before the fall, Adam and Eve weren’t just physically alive; they were spiritually resonant. Cloaked in God’s own light, aligned with divine order, and unashamed, they existed in harmony with the frequencies of heaven. But when Satan introduced his counterfeit system; a fusion of corrupted knowledge and spiritual disobedience; something fractured. It wasn't just sin. It was a disruption of light. A shutdown of deeper layers of spiritual function. A corruption of the original human template.
And so humanity fell; not merely from grace, but from frequency. From resonance. From glory.
Each of the twelve stones listed in Exodus 28 and Revelation 21 is not only beautiful; it’s resonant. These stones possess specific molecular structures that allow them to carry and stabilize energy. Quartz is used in modern technology for this exact reason; it holds time in watches, transmits signals in computers. These are not superstitions; these are realities built into the atomic nature of creation.
So when God prescribes twelve distinct stones for the priestly garment or embeds them in the walls of the eternal city, it is not arbitrary. These stones may represent twelve distinct frequencies; energetic dimensions of divine order. And if humanity was created in the image of God, it is not unreasonable to suggest that we once resonated with all twelve; that our very bodies, including our DNA, once carried a full-spectrum spiritual blueprint.
“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”
— 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)
Speculative as it is, some have proposed that humans may have originally had a more complex DNA structure; a 12-strand system (whether literal or symbolic); corresponding to divine resonance, full image-bearing capacity, and multi-dimensional spiritual access. The fall, then, may have deactivated or corrupted much of that capacity, leaving us with a truncated version of what we were meant to be.
Christ is called the “living Stone,” the cornerstone upon which we are rebuilt (1 Peter 2:6). He is “the light of the world” (John 8:12), the true frequency of God in human form. He not only bore the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9), but He also carried within Him the incorrupt DNA of heaven. That’s why Paul calls Him “the second Adam”; the first of a new human race, designed for salvation.
1 Corinthians 15 says our current body is “sown in dishonor, raised in glory.” The resurrected body is not merely spiritual; it is glorified.
And significantly, this restoration; the building of the Church, the body of all believers ; was not founded on Peter, but on Christ Himself. Though Peter was among the first to confess Jesus as the Messiah, Scripture makes clear that Christ is the cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20), and all believers are living stones being built into a spiritual house (1 Peter 2:5). The Church is not built on any man, but on the divine foundation of Christ alone; the only incorruptible one, the source of life, light, and restoration.
But while Christ builds New Jerusalem; the city of light and divine resonance; Satan has established Babylon. And Babylon is more than a city. It’s a system. A spiritual, political, and religious machine designed to counterfeit God’s kingdom and control the resonance of humanity.
In Revelation 18, Babylon is judged, and one of the key charges? It trafficked in the “souls of men.” That is not metaphor; that is soul-hunting. Spiritual slavery. Frequency hijacking. Babylon keeps people spiritually disconnected, vibrationally confused, and bound by corrupted identity.
This is no accident. The Babylonian system is constructed to maintain corrupted DNA ; spiritually and possibly biologically. It is, in essence, a vibrational prison. A cage for the soul.
Corporate-controlled media serves as its voice; designed not to inform but to condition. It keeps the masses in a constant state of fear, anxiety, and distraction, which lowers our frequency and keeps us spiritually vulnerable. Fear, sickness, addiction, confusion; all tools used to destabilize the human vessel. As Scripture teaches, “when the unclean spirit has gone out of a person… it seeks rest and finds none” (Matthew 12:43). The disembodied spirits of the fallen are actively seeking flesh, and in this Babylonian system, the spiritually unrepentant and unbelieving are fair game. Without the covering of the Holy Spirit, they remain open to influence — and even possession.
Man-made religion, rooted in Babylon, serves to keep us spiritually enslaved. It offers rituals, icons, and hierarchies; but not true communion with God. The masses are taught to confess to men when Scripture clearly says Christ is our only Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5).
Also, why would we need a “bridge-builder” when Christ Himself declared He is Jacob’s Ladder — the only true connection between heaven and earth (John 1:51)? Why do believers continue in cycles of sin, when the Bible says that those truly born of God do not continue in sin (1 John 3:9)? Because much of what masquerades as Christianity today is still rooted in Babylon — trading true transformation for ritualism, and spiritual power for hollow performance.
Celebrity politics is no different. Left and right are two wings of the same dragon; a theater of division under one agenda. Both sides ultimately serve the same Illuminati kingdom, tracing its roots back to Babylon. The people cry out for new solutions, and new systems, never realizing the entire framework is designed to keep them enslaved; spiritually, emotionally, biologically, and vibrationally.
Why the True Church Is the Threat
“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”
— 1 Corinthians 3:16 (NKJV)
Throughout Scripture, precious stones are not just decorative; they are deeply symbolic. They appear in moments of divine revelation, prophetic restoration, priestly identity, and cosmic design. Each one resonates with more than color or value; they reflect spiritual truth, divine order, and heavenly alignment.
In Exodus 28:17–20, God commands the High Priest’s breastplate to be adorned with twelve specific stones; one for each tribe of Israel. These stones were set in gold and worn over the heart, symbolizing that the people of God are remembered before Him in glory, order, and identity.
“You shall mount on it four rows of stones. The first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and an emerald; the second row, a turquoise, a sapphire, and a diamond; the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst; and the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper.” — Exodus 28:17–20
This is mirrored in Revelation 21, where the foundations of the New Jerusalem; the perfected Bride of Christ; are laid with those same stones. Heaven’s eternal city is built upon what God established in the beginning: covenant, beauty, divine order, and radiant glory.
“The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every kind of jewel… jasper, sapphire, chalcedony, emerald, sardonyx, sardius, chrysolite, beryl, topaz, chrysoprase, jacinth, and amethyst.” — Revelation 21:19–20
Other verses carry this symbolism further:
Isaiah 54:11–12 describes a restored city of God, its foundations laid with sapphires and rubies, walls built with crystal and precious stones. A picture of redemption, strength, and covenant glory.
Lamentations 4:7 compares the consecrated Nazarites to rubies and sapphire — “purer than snow,” once radiant in their holiness before their fall.
Song of Songs 5:14 poetically describes the beloved with beryl and sapphire; symbols of divine radiance and strength.
Job 28:16–18 elevates wisdom far above all treasures, including onyx, sapphire, coral, and rubies, emphasizing that divine understanding surpasses even the most precious materials on earth.
If Christ is the Cornerstone (1 Peter 2:6), the one on whom the spiritual house is built, then these stones reflect what we are being built into ; “living stones” ourselves (1 Peter 2:5). The Church was not built on Peter, but on Christ alone, the true Rock (1 Corinthians 10:4). When we are infilled with the Holy Spirit, we become living temples of the Most High; vessels of His presence, truth, and light. No longer just individual believers, we are joined together into a divine structure: the spiritual house God is building, with Christ as the cornerstone.
This living temple is not abstract; it is the very substance of the New Jerusalem. The stones of Scripture are not silent; they echo the restoration of identity, the return of lost glory, and the formation of a new humanity rooted in the incorruptible One. In Him, we are being realigned; spiritually, even down to the core of our being; to reflect the light we were always meant to carry.
The radiant stones that adorn the priest’s breastplate, the foundations of the New Jerusalem, are now reflected in us; a people transformed, sealed by the Spirit, and destined to dwell forever in the city of God.
How could the Babylonian system ever exploit, control, or profit from a people fully indwelt by the Holy Spirit? It couldn’t; because those sealed by God's Spirit are no longer slaves to fear, deception, or corruption. They are untouchable to the system’s manipulation. That’s why Babylon works so hard to keep us spiritually dormant, distracted, and disconnected from divine power.
As Paul warned, “they make merchandise of you” (2 Peter 2:3). You are not merely being sold products; you are being spiritually commodified. Your body, your mind, and your soul have become currency in a world system designed to keep you disconnected from God and dependent on Babylon.
The military-industrial complex; owned and fueled by the same international banking powers who shape global policy; profits by funding both sides of war. They sell the weapons, then reap even more wealth through the reconstruction of nations they helped destroy. It’s a cycle of engineered chaos and controlled recovery, and human lives are the collateral.
Big Pharma thrives the same way: they don’t profit from healing you; they profit from keeping you sick. Chronic illness, emotional instability, and synthetic dependencies are all tools in their arsenal. Babylon manufactures the disease; then sell you the cure.
Gambling, pornography, addiction, entertainment; all are designed to fracture your soul, dull your spirit, and lower your resonance. Even the music you listen to and the shows you watch are often programmed with frequencies, symbols, and narratives that condition your mind and open spiritual doorways. It’s not entertainment. It’s indoctrination.
And religion? It often plays right along. Why do we confess our sins to men, when Scripture says Christ is our only Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5)? Why pray to the dead, when God forbids it (Deuteronomy 18:11)? Why chase shrines, relics, and celebrity preachers when the Spirit of the Living God dwells within us (1 Corinthians 3:16)?
Why do so many Christians remain in cycles of sin while claiming the Spirit lives in them; when the Word says, “Whoever is born of God does not sin” (1 John 3:9)? Why worship on Sunday, a day exalted by Rome and empire, when Christ is called Lord of the Sabbath ; the seventh day (Saturday) which we are commanded to remember and keep holy (Exodus 20:8)?
Now ask yourself this: If we were all truly filled with the Holy Spirit; how could this system profit from us at all?
It couldn’t. Because a Spirit-filled, awakened, sanctified people cannot be bought, manipulated, distracted, or enslaved. That is why Babylon; religious, economic, and political; works relentlessly to suppress the true Spirit of God, replacing it with ritual, fear, and false light.
The war is over your soul. But the weapons are hidden in plain sight.
Humanity was created in the image of God; radiant, resonant, spiritually alive. But something was lost. Not only a connection to our Creator, but perhaps something deeper embedded in our very biology. Some have speculated, drawing from patterns in Scripture and insights from quantum science, that human DNA may have originally functioned with twelve strands; a full-spectrum blueprint that reflected divine identity, spiritual capacity, and cosmic alignment.
Today, we operate with just two visible strands, encoding the basics of life. But what if the rest; ten symbolic “strands”; lie dormant, deactivated at the fall? Genesis 6:12 tells us “all flesh was corrupted,” and the effects went beyond morality.
We became dissonant beings: spiritually dead, biologically limited, cut off from the fullness of who we were meant to be.
But Christ is the living Stone, the cornerstone of a new creation (1 Peter 2:6). In Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily (Colossians 2:9). He is the second Adam, the firstborn of a resurrected humanity (1 Corinthians 15:45).
Daniel 12:3 says the righteous will shine like the stars. Jesus said the righteous will “shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father” (Matthew 13:43). This is not metaphor alone. It is identity restored, resonance re-aligned, glory re-clothed.
