Unmasking Mithras: The False Light of the Ancient World

In this post, I will expand on my recent exploration of Mithraism; the ancient mystery religion centered on the figure of Mithras, also known as Sol Invictus, or "the Unconquered Sun." While once revered as a powerful cosmic deity in the Roman Empire, a deeper look reveals a far more troubling spiritual identity.

Mithras, originally derived from Indo-Iranian roots, was seen as the god "that binds" — his name itself associated with bonds or covenants. He was worshipped as a cosmic force, the so-called "light-bringer," said to control the movement of the heavens and endow secret or forbidden knowledge to his followers. These descriptors may sound strangely familiar, especially to those grounded in the biblical worldview.

According to modern theoretical physics; specifically, the "membrane theory" or M-theory; our universe may be just one among many in a broader multiverse. Within this framework, Mithras was considered lord over this world — not the Creator of all things, but rather a powerful ruler within a single, limited domain.

This distinction is vital. For Christians, we can recognize this figure not as a god of truth or salvation, but rather as a spiritual impostor. Mithras bears striking resemblance to Lucifer — the "false light bearer" ; who Scripture describes as "the god of this world" (2 Corinthians 4:4), a title not of divinity but of deceptive influence. In Hebrew, Satan means "adversary," and it is in this adversarial role that Mithras appears: a being masquerading as light, yet leading many away from the true Light of the world — Jesus Christ.

In Roman times, Mithras was symbolically associated with the constellation Perseus, often depicted slaying a bull beneath the stars ; a myth shrouded in astrological symbolism. More intriguingly, Mithras is placed at the heart of the precession of the equinoxes; a slow, cyclical movement of the Earth's axis that shifts the celestial backdrop of the equinoxes roughly every 2,160 years.

(The precession of the equinoxes is a gradual wobble in the Earth’s rotational axis, much like a spinning top. Over time, this wobble causes the position of the sun during the equinoxes to shift through the zodiac constellations. This movement plays a key role in ancient astrological systems and was central to the Mithraic worldview, where cosmic cycles were believed to influence earthly destinies.)

Understanding Mithras in this deeper context sheds light on how ancient deceptions continue to echo in modern spiritual confusion. For believers, it serves as a call to discernment — to recognize that not all who claim to bring light are of the Light.

The Starry Host: Ancient Powers and Present Deceptions

In ancient Rome and Greece, the stars and planets were not simply celestial bodies; they were regarded as divine, eternal beings: the immortal gods. Yet as Christians, we know a deeper truth. Scripture reveals that the powers ruling this fallen world are not gods at all, but fallen angels, spiritual rebels who masquerade as deities to deceive mankind.

Among these beings, one name stands out in apocryphal and mystical traditions: Shamsiel, meaning "sun of God." Often associated with unmatched brilliance — the brightest star in the sky — Shamsiel is considered a leader among the fallen, echoing the identity of Lucifer, the light-bearer. This is not mere poetic symbolism. The King James Bible confirms that angels are often represented as stars:

“When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy.”(Job 38:7, KJV)

And again:

“And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth.”(Revelation 12:4, KJV)

In these verses, the stars symbolize the sons of God; angelic beings, many of whom joined in rebellion. The visible stars, then, may be more than just distant suns; they may reflect a spiritual hierarchy; a legion of fallen beings, still influencing the affairs of earth.

Even creation itself longs for deliverance from their rule:

If Mithras — known also as Sol Invictus, Lucifer, Shamsiel, or the false light ; is believed to move the cosmos, then it follows that his legion (represented by the stars) remains ever-present, influencing global events, shaping nations, and ruling earthly systems. This is not the design of our true Creator, but a counterfeit kingdom, built upon rebellion and deception.

It is no wonder then that Satan is described not as the prince of darkness, but as something far more subtle and dangerous:

“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”(2 Corinthians 11:14, KJV)

This world, dazzling as it may appear, is not our true home. It is more accurately described as a soul cage, a prison governed by false light; where spiritual truth is obscured by the illusion of enlightenment.

Consider the words of Jesus when He said:

“Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.”(Matthew 22:21, KJV)

Why did Christ make such a distinction? Because men like Julius Caesar; and many rulers after him; did not see themselves merely as political leaders, but as earthly representatives of the sun god. Caesar, steeped in mystery religion and astrology, aligned the calendar in 46 BCE with the movements of Sol Invictus, not the divine order established by God at creation.

God’s original calendar began in the spring, with Abib/Nisan, marking new life and Passover ; the foreshadowing of Christ’s redemptive work. But Caesar replaced this divine rhythm with January, named after Janus, the two-faced Roman god of beginnings; ushering in a man-made system of time that subtly shifted humanity away from God's appointed times.

This is not coincidence. Those initiated into Mithraic mysteries; through secret societies, cults, and more recently Freemasonry; often revere Lucifer as the true “creator” of this world. It is well documented that high-ranking members of secret orders view Lucifer as a being of light and knowledge; not as the deceiver Scripture warns against.

This system rewards those who serve it. Is it any wonder that so many politicians are either trained actors; skilled in deception; or multi-millionaires? Their god determines worldly success, for “the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not” (2 Corinthians 4:4, KJV).

The Erosion of Biblical Christianity: A Hijacked Faith

Does this not begin to explain why biblical Christianity has been so systematically eroded over the centuries?

The visible “church,” particularly the so-called Mother Church, has departed significantly from the commands of Christ. It no longer holds fast to God's ordained holy days, nor to His appointed times. Instead of keeping the Sabbath day holy; the seventh day (Saturday) as commanded in Exodus 20:8-11 ; most now worship on Sun-day, a clear homage to the sun god, not the Son of God.

“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy… But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God…”(Exodus 20:8-10, KJV)

But in many Catholic catechetical texts, it is taught as:

"Remember to keep holy the Lord’s Day."

Furthermore, instead of celebrating God’s appointed feast days; Passover, Pentecost, Tabernacles; many churches honour pagan festivals tied to the solar calendar: Christmas (winter solstice), Easter (spring equinox), and others that align not with the Lord’s calendar, but with the astrological rhythm attributed to Mithras, Sol Invictus, or Lucifer by another name.

If Lucifer, through his identity as Mithras or Shamsiel, truly moves the cosmos and guides the precession of the equinoxes, and then reveals this new cosmological order to his initiates; a counterfeit roadmap to spiritual “ascension”; then it becomes evident that his influence has corrupted not just governments, but religious institutions as well.

Which brings us to a deeply revealing historical decision:

In 1582, Pope Gregory XIII erased 10 days from the calendar to realign it with the spring equinox. Why? If the Roman Catholic Church truly served Christ; the timeless and eternal Creator; why was there a need to synchronize sacred time with the solar movements governed by Mithras’ cosmic framework?

This Gregorian reform, while packaged as a scientific correction, betrays an allegiance not to the biblical calendar of Genesis; where “the evening and the morning were the first day” (Genesis 1:5, KJV); but to the astrological clock of the mystery schools, handed down through Rome, Caesar, and the Mithraic priesthood.

So we must ask: Why does a church that claims to follow Christ celebrate “holy days” aligned with equinoxes and solstices; the same patterns revered by sun worshippers, pagans, and occultists? If their allegiance is to Christ, then why perpetuate a calendar of control built not by God but by those who serve a different light?

“Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.”(Luke 11:35, KJV)

The Cosmic Deception and the Need for Discernment

When you view this world through the lens of a cosmic prison, ruled by a rebellious prince who “transforms himself into an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14, KJV), the compromises and distortions within modern religion begin to make sense. This isn't simply theological drift — it’s strategic deception, designed to lead humanity into alignment with a false spiritual order.

Those in power; whether emperors, popes, presidents, or priests; who knowingly align themselves with this false light, do so not out of ignorance but out of ambition. Their reward is worldly power in a system ruled by “the god of this world” (2 Corinthians 4:4, KJV). They have traded eternal truth for temporary control.

Psalm 78:10 (ESV)

“They did not keep God's covenant, but refused to walk according to his law.”

Psalm 119:126 (ESV):

“It is time for the LORD to act, for your law has been broken.”

Wait a moment — isn’t it clear that the Roman Catholic Church has broken God’s covenant?

The Sabbath isn’t just an old ritual or a cultural relic — it is declared in Exodus 31 as a perpetual covenant, a sign of God’s eternal relationship with His people:

“Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath… for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever…”(Exodus 31:16–17, KJV)

But here’s what many forget: “Israel” does not simply mean a political nation or ethnic group. The name Israel means “those who belong to God,”. Throughout Scripture, Israel is covenantal, not merely genealogical. Gentiles who come into covenant through Christ are grafted into the true Israel (Romans 11:17).

And the Sabbath itself was never just for the Jews. It was established at creation, not Mount Sinai:

“And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested…”(Genesis 2:2, KJV)

In Mark 2:27, Jesus says:

“The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.”

The Greek word used here is “anthropos” — meaning humanity, not Jew. The Sabbath was made for all mankind, long before there was an Israelite nation, a Levitical priesthood, or a Mosaic law.

This makes the Church’s abandonment of the Sabbath even more serious. If the Sabbath is a sign of belonging to the Lord, and if it still “remaineth” (Hebrews 4:9), then rejecting it is not just neglecting a law — it’s breaking a covenant.

So how can the pope claim to represent Christ, the mediator of that very covenant, when his institution has replaced God's appointed day with Sun-day, a day historically rooted in sun worship and Mithraic tradition?

“For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.”(Hebrews 4:4, KJV)

“There remaineth therefore a rest [sabbatismos — Sabbath-keeping] to the people of God.” (Hebrews 4:9, KJV)

Christ never gave any earthly man the authority to override God's commandments — especially not one so central to identity, holiness, and covenant. Yet the Roman system has done exactly that, while claiming to speak in Christ’s name.

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15, KJV)

To love Christ is to obey Him — not to elevate tradition, political power, or institutional authority above the Word of God.

Heavenly Ceilings and Earthly Deceptions: Who Really Moves the Cosmos?

Archaeologists have uncovered striking evidence within ancient Mithraea; underground temples dedicated to Mithras; showing that these cave-like sanctuaries were carefully designed to represent the cosmos. The ceilings were often painted with stars, zodiac symbols, and planetary deities, portraying a spiritual map of the heavens as seen through the lens of ancient mystery religion.

Fast-forward to today, and we see an eerily similar design in one of the most powerful religious centers in the world: the Vatican. People gaze in awe at its ornate, gold-laden ceilings; but we must ask: if the god of this world truly moves the cosmos (as Mithras, Sol Invictus, or Shamsiel — the fallen “sun of God”), why would symbols of the zodiac and celestial bodies dominate the architecture of a place that claims to worship a homeless Messiah who said, “Foxes have holes… but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head” (Luke 9:58, KJV)?

Is the papal ring, worn and kissed in reverence, comparable to the legendary ring of Solomon, believed in occult traditions to control genii/jinn, spiritual entities aligned with otherworldly power? Is this connection symbolic of a different kind of authority; one not rooted in Christ, but in mystical, astrological, and esoteric traditions?

Mithraism, at its core, was a form of sympathetic magic and bore strong ties to Greek Hermeticism — a system where “as above, so below” governed the imitation of heavenly patterns to achieve earthly power. Scripture warns about such deception:

“For thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.”(Revelation 18:23, KJV)

And again:

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ… should shine unto them.”(2 Corinthians 4:4, KJV)

Is it any wonder, then, that so many remain spiritually blind to the truth; even within the Roman Church? The veneration of shrines, statues of Mary, and the repetition of rituals that are nowhere found in the apostolic writings do not bring someone closer to the living Christ. Bowing to Mary does not lead to salvation, and apostolic succession; though claimed by the RCC; never once mentions a “pope” in Scripture, nor grants any man the authority to invent doctrines that the apostles never taught.

Christ warned of religious traditions that nullify God’s word:

“Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”(Mark 7:7, KJV)

So we must ask: Is today’s religious empire a continuation of Christ’s mission — or a veiled adaptation of the ancient Mithraic system, dressed in Christian terminology but serving a very different light?

Mithraism in Sidon: A Spiritual Echo of Judgment and Pride

While Rome is widely recognized as the primary hub of Mithraic worship, archaeological evidence reveals that a second major center existed in the ancient city of Sidon. Situated along the Mediterranean coast near Tyre, Sidon was a flourishing Phoenician port, deeply entangled in trade, foreign influence, and spiritual corruption; themes that resonate strongly throughout the biblical narrative.

For Christians grounded in Scripture, Sidon and Tyre are not just historical cities; they stand as enduring symbols of pride, idolatry, and divine judgment. In Ezekiel chapters 26 to 28, God pronounces the destruction of Tyre, rebuking it for claiming divinity and exalting itself in worldly wisdom and wealth. The Lord declares, “Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God; behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee” (Ezekiel 28:6–7, KJV). Likewise, in Isaiah 23, Tyre is called the “bestower of crowns,” lamented for its corrupted trade and eventual downfall.

The prophet Joel, in chapter 3, speaks against Tyre and Sidon for their role in selling Israelites into slavery; a direct assault against God’s covenant people. The pattern of betrayal and judgment is clear.

Sidon’s spiritual legacy is further stained in 1 Kings 16:31, where we learn that Jezebel, daughter of the king of Sidon, married King Ahab of Israel and introduced Baal worship, one of the darkest chapters in Israel’s spiritual history. Even earlier, in Joshua 19:28–29, Sidon and Tyre are mentioned as bordering territories never fully conquered by Israel — suggesting that these strongholds of paganism persisted as thorns in Israel’s side.

Yet, the New Testament reveals a surprising moment of grace in this same region. In Matthew 15:21–28 and Mark 7:24–30, Jesus travels to the coasts of Tyre and Sidon and heals a Gentile woman’s daughter, praising her faith as greater than any He had found in Israel. This act powerfully demonstrates the mercy of God extending beyond Israel, even to cities long associated with judgment. In Luke 10:13–14, Jesus further declares that Tyre and Sidon would have repented, had they seen the miracles performed in Jewish towns — an astonishing indictment of spiritual blindness among God’s own people.

Historically, Mithraism emerged in Sidon during the Roman imperial period, between the first and third centuries AD. Excavations have revealed underground Mithraic temples carved in stone, with celestial symbolism, altars, and inscriptions dedicated by Roman soldiers and elites. These temples often depicted Mithras slaying the bull, a central image of the cult’s cosmological myth.

The reappearance of Mithraic worship in Sidon; a city long condemned for its pride and false worship; adds a deeply symbolic layer to the biblical record. Sidon and Tyre were once judged for exalting themselves and embracing foreign gods. Centuries later, they become literal sites of mystery religion; temples to a “light-bearer” who claimed cosmic power.

This is no coincidence. It reinforces the spiritual pattern seen throughout Scripture: places of political power and economic wealth are often transformed into spiritual battlegrounds, where rival deities; false lights; attempt to displace the worship of the one true God.

Psalm 96:5 (KJV):

"For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens."

In the book of Daniel, we read of a vision involving four great beasts, each representing a kingdom that would rise to dominate the earth. The first is described as a winged lion, widely interpreted as symbolizing Babylon. The following empires are Medo-Persia (modern-day Iran), Greece, and Rome; a prophetic sequence that matches both biblical and historical chronology.

It is striking that Mithras, the central figure of the Roman mystery religion, is believed to have Indo-Persian roots and is closely associated with earlier deities such as Marduk of Babylon. This places Mithras within the spiritual lineage of these dominant world empires; a false light carried from Babylon to Persia, from Greece to Rome.

Now consider this: in Venice, one of Europe’s most symbolically charged cities, the sculpture of the winged lion; the very image from Daniel’s vision; stands prominently as a symbol of state power and divine authority. But this image is not confined to Europe alone. In the Mithraeum uncovered in Sidon, archaeologists found a bas-relief of the tauroctony (Mithras slaying the bull), surrounded by the twelve signs of the zodiac; a clear reference to cosmic dominion. They also discovered a statue of Mithras carrying the severed head of a bull, and notably, a lion-headed, winged figure holding a set of keys.

This winged, leonine figure bearing keys invites serious spiritual reflection. Throughout history, both papal and royal flags and coats of arms have featured lions holding keys — symbols of claimed authority, guardianship, and heavenly access. In Catholic tradition, this imagery is often tied to Saint Peter, to whom Christ gave “the keys of the kingdom” (Matthew 16:19). Yet the repeated presence of lions with keys in both Mithraic temples and European heraldry raises an important question: whose authority is actually being invoked?

Are these keys truly a sign of Christ's kingdom — or do they point back to a far older, more deceptive spiritual power that has passed through Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome, wearing many names but pursuing the same rebellion against the Most High?

The Winged Lion-Headed Figure of Mithraism

At the heart of Mithraic symbolism stands a terrifying and majestic entity: a lion-headed, winged figure, serpent-entwined, grasping symbols of cosmic authority in both hands. Scholars identify this figure as Aion or Leontocephalus, a representation of eternal time, celestial cycles, and the bound cosmic order — all of which were central to Mithraic belief.

In this relief, the figure holds keys, a staff or scepter, and stands wrapped in a serpent, a symbol of regeneration, hidden knowledge, and continuity. His wings evoke divinity or transcendence. But it is the lion’s head; with wide-open mouth and stylized mane; that dominates the form. In ancient symbolism, the lion represents dominion, power, and kingship, but within this context it is not benign. It conveys a fierce, eternal force that rules not by love or grace, but by mystery, secrecy, and fear.

At his feet, additional objects; such as a caduceus (staff of Hermes), a cock (symbol of vigilance or solar awakening), and geometric tools; enrich the esoteric vocabulary. Each element serves a coded function in the ritual cosmology of Mithraism, which was not open to the public but reserved for initiates who were believed to ascend through secret knowledge of the stars and the soul’s passage through the planetary spheres.

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:"

A False “Lord of Time”?

For Christians, the significance of this image is spiritually revealing. Mithraism taught a cosmic hierarchy in which Mithras (Sol Invictus/Lucifer/Shamsiel) and his agents; like this lion-headed being; ruled aspects of time and space. But Scripture reminds us that such powers are not of God:

The keys in the figure’s hand are especially troubling. In Catholic tradition, keys represent the authority of Peter (Matthew 16:19). But here, they are held by a pagan being, not a servant of Christ. This raises serious questions about the origin of certain symbols used in religious and royal heraldry; including papal insignia and crests where lions hold keys, echoing this same esoteric pattern.

Could this be one of the “doctrines of devils” Paul warned about? A spiritual counterfeit dressed in power, presenting itself as divine while obscuring the gospel?

This Mithraic figure is not merely an artifact; it is a window into a spiritual system that competed directly with early Christianity, yet continued to influence art, architecture, and ecclesiastical symbolism long after Mithraism declined publicly.

Followers of the Mithraic mystery religion worshipped a deity they believed held cosmic authority; one powerful enough to manipulate the stars themselves, particularly through what we now understand as the precession of the equinoxes. This slow astronomical shift was interpreted by the ancients as a sign of divine control over time and destiny.

If, as Scripture reveals, the god of this world is Lucifer (2 Corinthians 4:4); and if Mithras is simply another mask for this false light-bearer; then (as I repeat myself) it becomes spiritually significant that pope Gregory XIII, in 1582, revised the calendar to realign it with the equinoxes.

Why would the head of a church that claims to serve Jesus Christ, the eternal Lord of the Sabbath, take such a step; realigning sacred time not with God’s original covenant or His biblical feast days, but with celestial movements revered in pagan mystery religions?

It’s one thing for Julius Caesar to do so. He openly worshipped Sol Invictus, the unconquered sun, and styled himself as a divine representative of the sun god on earth. His motives were clearly aligned with Mithraic and imperial ideology. But the Roman Church claims to follow the Messiah who said, “I am the Lord of the Sabbath” (Mark 2:28). So why was God’s Sabbath ignored, and His appointed festivals; such as Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles; replaced with man-made holidays aligned with solar cycles and equinoxes which are controlled by Mithras?

Commissioned under the authority of pope Gregory XIII—architect of the Gregorian calendar—this dragon-faced clock bears the emblem of his Boncompagni lineage. But its timing is telling: If Mithras, the false light-bearer, was revered as the cosmic timekeeper, why would a pope who claimed to serve Christ lead a global realignment of time itself around celestial events and embed a dragon—the ancient symbol of deception—into its design?

Scripture warns us of a coming deception on a global scale:

“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed...”(2 Thessalonians 2:3, KJV)

And again in Revelation:

“For thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.”(Revelation 18:23, KJV)

These warnings align with the core practice of Mithraic religion, which relied on sympathetic magic; the belief that spiritual power could be accessed and manipulated through the alignment of earthly and celestial patterns. This is where the maxim “as above, so below” originates. If this same cosmological pattern underlies the restructuring of our global calendar and religious festivals, then the deception is deeper than most realize.

It may, in fact, be exactly what Scripture foretold: a counterfeit system of worship, disguised as light, yet rooted in ancient rebellion.

If the precession of the equinoxes affects not only the zodiac constellations but the entire star field, then it’s possible we have been deliberately severed from our divine origins. In the ancient mystery religions, Lucifer; disguised as a bearer of light; promised his followers, “Ye shall be as gods.” This seduction of power still echoes today. Is it any surprise, then, that so many politicians are multimillionaires, actors, or members of secret societies like Freemasonry, whose rituals trace back to ancient systems of cosmic manipulation and control?

Archaeologist John Romer observed that Rome, in a desperate effort to hold its crumbling empire together, imposed a system in which animals, land, and even human souls were tightly managed and controlled. Today, under what we now call “the establishment,” we see a continuation of this system; where spiritual, political, and economic control go hand-in-hand.

To be controlled in this way; politically and religiously; requires that we are cut off from any competing source of truth, especially our connection to God. The goal is to sever us from our divine roots, from our Creator, and from the inner guidance system placed within our souls. Those who worship the god of this world; Lucifer; are intoxicated by power and profit. As Scripture reveals:

“And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her… for no man buyeth their merchandise any more… the souls of men.”(Revelation 18:11–13, KJV)

But how do they traffic in souls?

The answer lies in distraction, dependence, and deception. The greatest threat to their control is our soul’s connection to God. Our souls carry a divine imprint; a spark of gold, a connection to eternity. It is this very connection that I’ve been aware of since childhood, sensing realities beyond this physical realm. This inner awareness; our ability to connect directly with Christ; threatens their external systems of control.

To maintain power, fallen angels and their earthly agents must keep us enslaved to their external systems; systems that make us too busy, too numb, or too divided to truly worship the Father in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). Only when we are fully severed from our origins can their control be absolute.

This is why the rich grow richer, while the rest are enslaved to systems of debt, distraction, and degradation. Through institutionalized paradigms; education, media, false religion, and politics; they keep us bound. They offer fleeting dopamine hits through consumerism, drugs, pornography, alcohol, gambling, and endless entertainment, never satisfying the deep needs of the soul.

Even TV programming is exactly that—programming. Just consider the symbolic messaging in films, like the movie G20, that plugs digital currency on the back of farming in 3rd world countries. Recent events, like the blackout in Spain, where people couldn’t buy food or water because digital systems failed, are warnings. This is not just about convenience; it’s about total control. This is why cash circulation must remain, not just for freedom, but as a barrier against economic enslavement.

In today’s world, if you submit to their systems, you are seen as “acceptable.” If you resist, you’re labeled a troublemaker. Why? Because anyone who reconnects with their soul; and thereby with the true Creator; threatens the very fabric of their control grid.

Whether one is an atheist, a devotee of celebrity politics, bows before a man on a golden throne, or kneels at a Marian shrine, none of these paths lead to Christ. They lead to further separation, further dependence on external systems that are designed to keep the soul sick and cut off from divine healing.

So how do we get spiritually healthy in a world built to keep us soul-sick?

We return to Christ. We reconnect with our true origins. And in doing so, this fallen world order begins to collapse under the weight of its lies. But the lust for power and wealth is so great that men who claim to serve us lie to maintain the illusion. They sit at the top of systems they know are broken, yet reward themselves for keeping our souls enslaved.

Sick paradigms create sick institutions, which in turn form sick people. And then they reward us for not noticing how soul-sick we truly are.

Just like Emperor Diocletian, who ruled both politics and religion, the man of sin sits enthroned today; claiming to represent Christ, yet ruling over the very systems that keep the world blind and bound.
