Signs of the End Times

Writer: Michelle HaymanMichelle Hayman

In recent years, we have witnessed an alarming increase in freak weather events, tornadoes, earthquakes, and floods on an unprecedented scale. While many attribute these disasters to climate change or global warming, the Bible provides a far more profound explanation—these are the birth pains spoken of in prophecy, signaling the coming end of the age. What people should be more concerned about is not global warming but the earth itself stopping, burning, and being destroyed as foretold in Revelation.

Jesus Foretold These Signs of the End Times

Matthew 24:7-8 says: “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”

Jesus makes it clear that earthquakes, famines, and disasters will escalate before His return. These are not random occurrences but divine warnings, showing that the end is near. The increasing intensity of natural disasters mirrors the labour pains of childbirth, growing more frequent and severe as the final judgment approaches.

Luke 21:25-26 further emphasizes: “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”

This passage warns of cosmic disturbances and natural catastrophes that will terrify the inhabitants of the earth. Climate alarmists claim that rising sea levels and extreme weather are due to human activity, but Scripture tells us these events are not merely environmental issues—they are divine signals that the world is approaching its final reckoning.

The Earth Itself Will Be Destroyed, Not Just Warmed

While the world debates climate policies and carbon emissions, the Bible foretells a fate far more terrifying than rising temperatures. Revelation speaks of the ultimate destruction of the earth.

Revelation 16:8-9 states: “And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.”

This is not a warning about a mere one-degree increase in global temperature—this is God unleashing His wrath upon an unrepentant world. The sun will become so intense that it will burn men alive, and yet, instead of repenting, people will curse God and refuse to acknowledge His sovereignty.

2 Peter 3:10 confirms this coming destruction: “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”

This world will not continue indefinitely. The very elements of the earth will be dissolved by fire, proving that the real catastrophe is not global warming, but the fiery judgment of God.

Tornadoes, Floods, and Earthquakes: Are They Warnings from God?

Natural disasters have often been used by God as warnings or judgments in Scripture. The Bible teaches that God controls nature and allows storms, earthquakes, and calamities to serve as signs.

Nahum 1:3 declares: “The LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.”

Tornadoes and storms are not merely freak accidents—they are under God’s authority. The same God who parted the Red Sea and caused the Jordan River to stop flowing is the same God who allows and directs storms.

Isaiah 29:6 states: “Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.”

The increase in earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, and tornadoes should not be seen as isolated weather patterns but as a divine message that the world is running out of time.

Romans 8:22 says: “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.”

The earth itself suffers under the weight of sin, longing for Christ’s return to set things right. These disasters are not random but part of the earth’s agony, reflecting the brokenness caused by sin.

Psalm 14:1

"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good."

Psalm 53:1

"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good."

Both passages emphasize the moral and spiritual blindness of those who deny God's existence.

People have grown far too comfortable in their own sin. The majority of humanity has no real desire to strive for righteousness beyond their own self-imposed standards. True repentance and submission to a divine Creator (not to a pope), require not only faith but also an honest reflection on the absolute moral decay of this world. Instead of acknowledging the depth of human corruption, society embraces and normalizes witchcraft, violence, murder, homosexuality, substance abuse, self-indulgence, and even priests fiddling kids, numbing itself with distractions and calling it "self-love." The truth is, we don’t need to love ourselves more—we need to love each other more, not in a perverse or self-serving way but in the way that God commands: by seeking truth, righteousness, and genuine care for one another. If people need proof that the world is corrupt, they need only look at what happens on the very day that was meant to be kept holy—Saturday. Instead of honouring the Sabbath (the eternal covenant between humanity and God), the majority spend it indulging in drunkenness, immorality, mindless entertainment, and hedonism.

If Rome created the modern calendar and has had such a strong influence over society, why would they allow the one day that was ordained as holy to become a day of sin and debauchery?

Then again, what should we expect? Among the ancient Roman elite, pederasty (older men engaging in relationships with younger boys) was common. Even emperors like Caligula and Nero, both of whom held the title of Pontifex Maximus, were rumored to have engaged in incestuous relationships with their own sisters. This morally corrupt legacy has seeped into the very foundations of modern civilization. But hey, at least we can also thank them for the countless pagan festivals that worship demons.

The same sun-worshipping pagans still rule the world today.

Of course, they won’t admit it outright—doing so would cost them their power, their wealth, and their control over the masses. Instead, they continue their deception, ensuring that society remains spiritually blind, feeding people lies wrapped in tradition and empty rituals. The world does not seek truth because truth requires change, and change requires accountability. People are too enamored with their own desires to question the system they have been conditioned to follow. But the signs are everywhere. Humanity is not evolving into something better—it is descending further into chaos, moral decay, and rebellion against God. The only solution is to turn away from the false gods, false teachings, and self-destructive ideologies that have been force-fed to us and return to the one true God before it’s too late.

To enter God's kingdom, we must be reborn of the Spirit. The flesh is in constant conflict with the Spirit, which is why lust, indulgence, and animalistic behaviour are not just frowned upon but recognized as obstacles that prevent people from receiving the Holy Spirit. These are not just arbitrary moral restrictions—they are warnings about spiritual self-destruction. When people give themselves over to the desires of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, they become spiritually blind, unable to see the true condition of their souls or the harm they bring upon themselves and others.

1 John 2:16 declares: “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”

This passage makes it clear that these desires do not come from God but are part of a fallen world that seeks to pull humanity away from Him. The more people indulge in these things, the more hardened their hearts become, making them numb to truth, deaf to conviction, and blind to the eternal consequences of their actions.

Proverbs 14:12 warns: “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

Many believe they are simply "living their best life," chasing pleasure, status, and gratification, but they fail to realize that the very path they walk leads to destruction. They trade eternal joy for temporary indulgence, all the while growing further from the truth that could set them free.

Without spiritual awakening and submission to God, they remain trapped in a cycle of self-deception, harming not only themselves but also leading others astray. Only when one turns away from the corruption of the world and seeks the things of God can they truly see the depth of their condition and the redemption found in Christ. Only when one is born of the Spirit can they begin to see the truth—that much of what is normalized in this world is degrading, self-destructive, and designed to pull humanity away from God. Yes, it is difficult for some to believe in an unseen spiritual world, but the reality of its existence is undeniable when we look at the moral decay, suffering, and deception in the world around us. If this world were not ruled by evil, why is there such an overwhelming embrace of behaviours that go against the natural order? Why are perversion, violence, and sin promoted while righteousness, self-control, and faith are mocked? The answer is clear: Lucifer and his servants want it this way. They thrive in a world where people are slaves to their impulses, blind to the truth, and unwilling to repent. If people truly turned to God, repented, and were born of the Spirit, the world would be unrecognizable. Sickness, crime, and suffering would dramatically decline because the Holy Spirit transforms hearts, minds, and bodies. But such a transformation would not serve the interests of the oligarchs, the elites, or the industries that profit off human sin and suffering. How could pharmaceutical companies thrive if people were truly healed—physically, mentally, and spiritually—by the power of the Holy Spirit? How could the porn industry survive if people turned away from lust and depravity? How could the gambling industry continue if people sought fulfillment in God rather than addiction? How could the media manipulate people if they stopped filling their minds with corruption? The truth is, there is a system in place designed to keep humanity enslaved to sin—not just for control, but for profit. The more people are consumed by their vices, the richer and more powerful those at the top become. The distractions, the indulgences, and the normalization of sin are all part of a grand design to keep people from fulfilling their true purpose—to seek God, to be transformed by His Spirit, and to live according to His will. Until people wake up and see the world for what it truly is, they will remain trapped, feeding a system that thrives on their spiritual destruction.

Jesus Himself warned that disasters are not just tragedies but opportunities for people to wake up and turn to God. In Luke 13:4-5, He said, “Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” This passage makes it clear that calamities should not be seen as random misfortunes but as reminders that life is fragile and uncertain. They are wake-up calls, urging people to seek God, repent, and prepare for what is coming.

The increase in natural disasters is not a coincidence. The Bible warns that these events will escalate before the return of Christ. Yet, instead of recognizing them as signs of the times, many choose to explain them away with human reasoning. Science and policies may offer explanations, but they cannot address the deeper issue—the spiritual condition of the world. The root problem is not environmental but moral and spiritual, and no human solution can prevent what has already been foretold in Scripture.

Now is the time to turn to God in repentance. The disasters we see around us should serve as a wake-up call, not just for individuals but for entire nations. The world is rapidly moving toward judgment, and only through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ can anyone be saved. Christ’s return is imminent, and those who refuse to acknowledge Him will face consequences far worse than any earthly catastrophe. The world will not continue indefinitely; it is heading toward a final judgment, and only those who trust in Christ will be spared from what is to come.

While the world obsesses over climate change and seeks to control the weather, God’s Word warns of something far more serious—His coming wrath. The disasters we see today are just the beginning. Soon, the world will face earthquakes that shake the heavens, a sun that scorches the wicked, and a final fire that will consume the earth. The real crisis is not climate change; it is the impending judgment of God. The question is not whether climate change will destroy the earth but whether you will be ready when Christ returns. Global warming is nothing compared to the real, unstoppable judgment of God. The time to prepare is now. Are you ready?

The world has been obsessed with the idea of climate change, global warming, and the possibility of environmental catastrophe. Scientists warn of rising temperatures, melting ice caps, and powerful solar flares that could disrupt life on earth. However, what people fail to realize is that the Bible has already foretold the ultimate fate of this world, and it is not gradual warming—it is total destruction by fire. The Scriptures reveal that the earth will not simply decay due to human activity but will be consumed by divine judgment, melted with fervent heat, and replaced by a new heaven and a new earth.

The Bible makes it clear that the world is heading toward a catastrophic end. In 2 Peter 3:10-12, it is written that the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, the elements shall melt with fervent heat, and the earth and everything in it will be burned up. This is not a slow deterioration but an event of immense destruction that will leave nothing behind. The elements themselves will be dissolved, showing that everything people cling to—whether possessions, cities, or civilizations—will be completely erased by fire. Peter’s warning is not just poetic language; it is a prophetic description of the final fate of this planet.

Revelation confirms that this destruction is inevitable. In Revelation 16:8-9, the fourth angel pours out his vial upon the sun, giving it the power to scorch men with fire. The heat will be so intense that people will be burned alive, yet instead of repenting, they will blaspheme God. This passage shows that the coming judgment is not just about physical destruction but also about the hardening of hearts. The same rebellion that led mankind to reject God in the past will continue until the very end.

The idea of the earth being burned up is not new to the prophetic books of the Bible. In Malachi 4:1, the day of the Lord is described as a furnace, where the wicked will be burned like stubble, leaving neither root nor branch. This is a complete eradication of everything that stands against God’s righteousness. There will be no partial destruction or survivors who manage to rebuild. The judgment of fire will consume everything, leaving only those whom God has redeemed through Christ.

Isaiah 13:13 describes how the heavens will shake, and the earth will be moved out of its place due to the wrath of the Lord. This is a powerful image of the cataclysmic events leading up to the final destruction. The Bible does not speak of a world that will slowly fade away but of a world that will be violently overturned by divine wrath.

Some might argue that natural disasters, solar flares, and rising temperatures are a result of human actions. While there is no doubt that man has mismanaged the environment, the Bible makes it clear that the true end of the earth will come not from pollution or carbon emissions but from God’s decree. In Psalm 102:25-26, it is written that the heavens and the earth will perish, growing old like a garment, and God will change them as one changes a cloak. This reveals that the destruction of the earth is not random or accidental but part of God’s divine plan. The world, as it exists now, is temporary, and it will be replaced with something entirely new.

Revelation 21:1 gives the final answer to what will happen after this fiery destruction. John saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. The world that people know today, with all its corruption, suffering, and sin, will not last forever. God will replace it with a new creation, one where righteousness dwells, where there is no more pain, suffering, or death.

The world worries about climate change, but the real warning should be about the coming judgment. The real threat is not global warming—it is the fire of God’s wrath. No amount of environmental activism or scientific advancement can stop what has already been foretold. The question is not whether the world can be saved, but whether individuals are prepared for what is coming.

Jesus Christ is the only way to escape this coming destruction. The Bible is clear that those who reject Him will face the fire, but those who put their trust in Him will be part of the new heaven and new earth. The world may continue to deny the truth, but the warnings are there. The signs are happening now. The question is, will people listen before it is too late?

Question....

If the Vatican truly understands the teachings of Christ, which declare that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 19:24), and that the love of money is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10), then how can it justify its position as the wealthiest institution in the world?

The very organization that claims to represent Christ sits atop vast riches while millions suffer in poverty.

The Vatican is adorned with gold, its former popes rode in carriages crafted from the same precious metal, and its wealth spans enormous property portfolios and banking empires. This is not the image of humility and self-sacrifice that Christ embodied. Instead, it mirrors the world’s most powerful and corrupt institutions—hoarding wealth, exerting influence, and manipulating nations to maintain its dominion.

Historically, the Vatican’s accumulation of land and wealth has been fraught with deception and coercion. Forged documents, such as the infamous Donation of Constantine, were used to justify land acquisitions and political power, securing Rome’s grip over territories that were never rightfully theirs.

The very idea that the pope, a man sitting in an opulent palace surrounded by priceless treasures, could claim to be the Vicar of Christ—who had no home, no riches, and lived among the poor—is not only contradictory but blasphemous. Christ instructed His followers to store up treasures in heaven, yet the Vatican hoards wealth on earth beyond measure.

The contrast between the teachings of Christ and the actions of the Vatican is glaring.

But they do so much for charity, they cry!

If the Catholic Church were truly founded on Christ’s principles, it would give all its wealth to the poor, abandon its political ambitions, and live in humility rather than maintaining a kingdom on earth. But history and reality prove otherwise. The Vatican stands as a monument to human greed and corruption rather than divine holiness. How then can it claim to be the representative of Christ? The answer is clear—it cannot.

The Roman Empire still holds sway over the world, shaping our calendar, festivals, and even religious institutions through strategic influence. They remain among the wealthiest establishments. When Satan tempted Christ, offering Him dominion over all earthly kingdoms in exchange for worship, it revealed a deep truth about worldly power. What does this imply about the Vatican's role and influence today? Who does it truly serve?

Not Christ, as evidenced by the obelisk outside Jupiter's temple.

Not only that, but how can Catholics reconcile the fact that the pope and his clergy blaspheme God in such an egregious manner? How can they not question that a mere sinner has dared to usurp the very name and authority of God? This is an institution that has harboured and protected men who have preyed upon innocent children for their own vile desires. How can someone claim to be filled with the Holy Spirit while committing such heinous acts? How can a so-called representative of Christ stand in a place of moral authority while engaging in the very corruption that Christ condemned?

If a priest claims to absolve sins, yet his own hands are stained with unimaginable evil, how can he be trusted? How can anyone believe in the legitimacy of a system where the very individuals entrusted with spiritual leadership have been exposed as predators? The Catholic Church demands blind faith in its priests, yet history has shown that many have used their power not to shepherd their flock, but to exploit it. If even one priest is guilty of such wickedness, how many more have gone unseen? And if this institution truly stood for holiness, why has it spent centuries covering up its crimes rather than seeking justice for its victims?

Imagine the unimaginable fury of God upon those who dare to invoke His name while defiling innocent children. And yet, some Catholics turn a blind eye, choosing silence over justice, complicity over righteousness—allowing evil to fester within the very walls meant to protect the faithful.
