Welcome to Rebuild Spirit
Welcome to Rebuild Spirit, a personal blog about faith, spiritual restoration, and the journey back to God through Jesus Christ.
Many of us spend our lives chasing success, security, recognition, or survival, only to discover that something deeper remains broken within us. We may appear alive outwardly, yet inwardly feel empty, wounded, burdened, or lost. Christ repeatedly spoke of a condition more serious than physical suffering: spiritual death. When a disciple asked to delay following Him, Jesus replied, "Let the dead bury their dead" (Matthew 8:22). Though physically alive, many were spiritually separated from the life of God.
Scripture teaches that humanity's deepest problem is not merely political, economic, or social. It is the damage that sin does to the human soul. Pride, hatred, greed, envy, bitterness, lust, unforgiveness, and rebellion against God do not simply affect our actions; they shape our hearts and gradually draw us away from the One who gives life. What begins as temptation can become bondage. What begins as compromise can become darkness.
The Bible also warns that our struggle is not only against flesh and blood, but against spiritual powers that seek to deceive, tempt, accuse, and destroy (Ephesians 6:12). Evil often works quietly and invisibly, drawing people further from God until sin becomes normal, truth becomes obscured, and the soul grows cold. Left unchecked, this path leads not to freedom but to spiritual death.
Many people carry deep wounds from their past. Trauma, abuse, betrayal, neglect, and personal failure can leave scars that shape the way we see ourselves, others, and even God. Yet the Christian message is not one of despair. Christ came to seek and save the lost, to bind up the brokenhearted, to call sinners to repentance, and to bring life where death has taken root.
The purpose of this blog is not to promote self-enlightenment or self-discovery as an end in itself. Its purpose is to point toward the healing, forgiveness, and restoration found in Christ. True renewal begins when we honestly confront our condition before God, turn from sin, and allow Him to rebuild what has been damaged within us.
In my free ebook I share parts of my own journey, the struggles I faced, the questions I wrestled with, and the path that led me back toward faith. My hope is that it encourages others who are searching for truth, healing, and a deeper relationship with God.
"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." (Luke 19:10)
But for now I’ll say keep shining bright.
