Veiled Innocence

Writer's picture: Michelle HaymanMichelle Hayman

In the past few days, I stumbled upon seven, three-week-old kittens who were in dire straits, with their eyes and noses sealed shut due to a severe case of feline cold. Unfortunately, they had scratched themselves so vigorously with their dewclaws that two of them will need to undergo surgery to remove one of their eyes, as the injuries have caused irreparable damage to their eyesight.

In addition to their medical needs, I've been caring for them around the clock, feeding them every two hours with a bottle since some of them aren't yet able to eat solid kitten food.

Needless to say I'm exhausted, so if this post is not my best please forgive me.

Anyway.

Approximately two months ago I was shown, in a mysterious vision, an elegant building whose purpose remained unclear. The building was not only ornate, but it was also extremely plush in its design. When you looked out from the first door, you could see beautiful gardens and a stunning fountain. Upon reaching the first entrance, I realised that there was a hidden entrance that I needed to go through. The moment I stepped foot into the building, my attention was drawn to the sight of a sizable table, exquisitely decorated with an intricate figurine and a floral cover. A large brown envelope filled with bundles of cash was presented to me, along with a list of names, some of which were already marked off.

I was completely clueless about the meaning of this dream and the identities of those mentioned names. However, it was clear that someone was desperately trying to convey a message to me, emphasizing the need for my immediate attention.

Today's Thoughts

I find it peculiar how the worship of the Virgin Mary in the Roman Catholic Church appears to surpass the reverence for Christ himself. It is quite astonishing that a mortal, no matter how remarkable, has surpassed Christ in terms of rank.

How is this the case when Matthew 12:46 (KJV) reads:

"While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him"

Which follows in Matthew 12:47:

"Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee."

Matthew 12:48 says:

"But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?"

Instead Matthew 12:49 reads:

"And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!"

Given this passage, do Roman Catholics not find it peculiar that the Virgin Mary is still held in such high regard.

Could it be that they've been heavily influenced by the teachings of the pope since childhood, neglecting to explore the scriptures independently? Wouldn't that imply they're subservient to the pope not God!

Also in formal Catholic prayers the "Hail Mary" is repeated multiple times, often 53 times in a full Rosary. However, in personal devotions or other contexts, it can be said as few or as many times as desired by the individual.

Whilst Jesus instead,said: Matthew 6:7:

"But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking."

A "heathen" is someone who doesn't follow a major religion like Christianity, Judaism, or Islam, often considered uncivilized or pagan.

Just to clarify from my previous post about sun worship being a pagan religion: it's important to note that our supreme God created the sun and celestial bodies, and is above them.

Question: how could someone who declined to speak to her own son while he addressed the masses now be revered as the Queen of Heaven?

You may wonder why I'm scrutinising the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church. It's prompted by the behavior of my devout neighbours, who've held such racism towards me, albeit that I grew up in Spain, that they've tried to drive me from my home for the last seven years, even resorting to occult practices. Needless to say my concern for their welfare persists.

The realisation that these Catholics have been misled for centuries, enslaved by false gods, a false Christ, and erroneous teachings perpetuated by power-hungry mortals, is intolerable to me.

This brings me to the topic of idolatry and the significance of the wafer.

I feel it's disrespectful to the profound significance of Christ's crucifixion when a priest proclaims "HOC EST ENIM CORPUS MEUM" over freshly made bread, claiming it transforms into the body, soul, and divinity of Christ. This seems to diminish the crucifixion's importance, turning it into a form of cannibalism through witchcraft, a practice that occurs daily.

Charles Chiniquy writes, " The Egyptians worshipped God under the form of crocodiles and calves. The Greeks made their gods of marble or of gold. The Persian made the sun his god. The Hottentots make their gods with whalebone. The Church of Rome makes her god out of a piece of bread!"

Their reason for such cannibalism is the parable (as Jesus always spoke):

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.

(John 6: 47-55)

Which means, as all teachings are not literal, the way we satisfy our spiritual hunger and quench our spiritual thirst is by believing in Jesus.

Have Roman Catholics been so thoroughly indoctrinated and bound to the authority of the pope from a young age that they neglect to read or interpret the scriptures independently?

My belief is that God is omnipresent, not confined to ornate buildings filled with riches, and certainly not limited to a piece of bread.

Roman Catholics interpret Holy Scriptures through the lens of their Holy Fathers rather than through independent analysis. To anyone questioning my assertions regarding the countless discrepancies between Roman Catholic doctrine and Christ's teachings, consider this: the Inquisition concluded centuries ago. Therefore, I urge you to pick up a Bible, for your own sakes! And if, like my ex Spanish mother-in-law, you are unable to read, seek assistance from a family member who can read it to you.

Also why did the pope have such an issue with Galileo and his heliocentric model of the universe? Galileo was found guilty of heresy and sentenced to house arrest for the remainder of his life because his theory, now proven, contradicted the prevailing geocentric model supported by the church at that time.

In my opinion the Roman Catholic church had issues with the heliocentric theory because it would lead people away from traditional religious beliefs, and threatened the Roman catholic church grip of power and control of the masses.

Could it also be the concern that people might discover their inclination towards sun worship?

It baffles me how some fail to recognise that people have been killed and oppressed by the authority of popes, all in the name of worshipping a false Christ.

Matthew 24, 5:14

"For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."
