When The Heavens Speak

With all due respect, it is disheartening to witness the fervent dedication of people in Spain as they participate in Easter parades to worship their God. As a follower of Christ myself, I understand the significance of such devotion. However, it saddens me to reflect on the fact that the Roman Catholic Church abolished the second commandment, which prohibits the making of graven images of anyone in heaven. This commandment is clearly stated in God's word, as seen in Isaiah 2:8. My heart goes out to the wonderful people of Spain for their sincerity and commitment to their faith. Having grown up alongside them, I urge everyone to carefully consider the teachings of the Old Testament, which the Roman Catholic Church claims to worship.

Hence, perhaps, the weather's role in cancelling all processions? After enduring years of drought, it seems almost ironic that the heavens would open up just as they are about to parade their idols.

Isaiah 2:8 from the King James Bible states:

"Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:"

The second commandment from the Old Testament, as found in Exodus 20:4-6 (King James Version), states:

"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments."

Could that explain the Popes carrying the Bent Crucifix?

The phrase "Get out of her, my people" originates from the book of Revelation in the Bible, specifically Revelation 18:4. In this context, it's part of a message about Babylon, a symbolic representation of a corrupt and sinful society. God is calling His people to separate themselves from the sinful practices and influences of Babylon in order to avoid being caught up in its downfall and judgment. It's essentially a call to righteousness and spiritual purity, urging believers to distance themselves from worldly corruption and remain faithful to God.
